NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE
The present invention is provided with: a mounting body mounted on an axle; a ring-shaped body (13) surrounding the mounting body from an outside in a tire radial direction; a connecting member (15) configured to connect the mounting body and the ring-shaped body (13) such that the mounting body and the ring-shaped body (13) are displaceable; and a cylindrical tread member (16) mounted over the ring-shaped body (13), wherein grooves (51, 52) are formed at an outer peripheral surface of a portion located above and corresponding to a portion of the tread member (16) at which the ring-shaped body (13) and the connecting member (15) are connected.

TIRE
A tire includes: a skeleton portion including a rim member, a plurality of body springs latched on the rim member, and a plurality of interlink springs interlaced with the body springs; and a tread member disposed at least on the outer periphery of the skeleton portion.
WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly for a tire includes a circular hub member for securing to a rotatable axle of a vehicle, a first rim piece for engaging the hub member, a second rim piece for engaging the first rim piece, and a plurality of cylindrical sleeves for engaging both the first rim piece and the second rim piece. The first rim piece has cylindrical first shafts each engaging a first end of one of the sleeves. The second rim piece has cylindrical second shafts each engaging a second opposite end of one of the sleeves. An outer cylindrical surface of each sleeve engages a separate and distinct part the tire.
Tire having replaceable discrete traction elements
A tire may comprise a hub and a plurality of discrete traction elements coupled to the hub. Each of the traction elements may comprise a backing plate and an elastomeric material bonded to the backing plate. Circumferentially adjacent traction elements may axially overlap.

Tires with segmented tire bodies, embedded mounting elements and partially embedded cleats
Segmented tires employ segments featuring cooperating recesses and protrusions at opposing sides thereof for mating of the segments with one another in the assembled tire body. Cleated tires with embedded cleats of greater rigidity than the tire body material provide improved traction in muddy or other slippery conditions while the compressible tire body smooths out the ride harshness of the tire. Mounting elements are also embedded within the segments of the tire body for secure mounting and reliable retention of the segments.

Wheel for a support structure
A wheel assembly includes a mounting plate for attachment to a rotatable axle, a plurality of elongate friction members for engaging a tire assembly, a plurality of first angular flanges extending radially outward and circumferentially in a first direction from the mounting plate, and a plurality of second angular flanges extending radially outward and circumferentially in a second direction, opposite the first direction, from the mounting plate. Each elongate friction member is disposed axially between one of the first angular flanges and one of the second angular flanges.
