Locking adjustable vehicle hitch
A locking adjustable trailer hitch system includes a vehicle trailer hitch receiver having a receiver opening. The vehicle trailer hitch receiver includes at least one hitch pin opening for placement of a locking hitch pin. A locking adjustable trailer hitch bar is slidably and removably attached to the trailer hitch receiver through the receiver opening. The trailer hitch bar includes at least one extended slotted depression alongside one of its walls. The slotted depression is adapted to be in alignment with the hitch pin opening and can be a pass through or non-pass through depression. The hitch system further includes an anti-wobble device to secure and stabilize the hitch bar within the vehicle receiver. The hitch bar can extend along the length of the slotted depression such that the distal end of the hitch bar can be positioned a greater or lesser distance from the receiver as desired.
BALL AND SOCKET ASSEMBLY WITH CLIP RETENTION SYSTEM
An exemplary embodiment of a locking clip for a ball and socket assembly includes a socket engagement portion, a positioning tab extending from a first end of the socket engagement portion, an first retention portion having an outer surface and a first engagement surface opposite the outer surface, the first retention portion coupled to the socket engagement portion; and a second retention portion having a second engagement surface, a second surface opposite the second engagement surface, and a release tab extending from a first end of the second retention portion opposite a second end of the second retention portion proximal to the positioning tab, the second retention portion flexibly coupled to the socket engagement portion. The first retention portion and the second retention portion are flexibly coupled to the socket engagement portion and the first and second engagement surfaces define a clip retention area.
TRAILER COUPLER WITH INTEGRATED LOCK
A trailer coupler includes a lock contained within a channel in a coupler body. A pin extends from the lock. The pin extends through an aperture in an end of the channel and through an aperture in a latch handle when the lock is locked. In such configuration, the pin prevents pivoting the latch handle to an open (unlocked) position. Unlocking the lock allows the lock to be moved at least partially out of the channel, which removes the pin from the aperture in the handle, allowing the handle to pivot to an open (unlocked) position.
Safety chain engaging device for gooseneck hitch
A safety chain engaging device for a towing vehicle having a gooseneck hitch attached with a rail of the towing vehicle is shown and described. The safety chain engaging device may include a first bracket configured to be secured with the rail of the towing vehicle, and a second bracket attached with the first bracket, the second bracket including a plate member spaced from the first bracket. The safety chain engaging device may also include at least one safety chain engaging member secured with the plate member, where the safety chain engaging member is configured to be laterally spaced from the rail upon securement of the first bracket with the rail.
BALL-TYPE COUPLING ARRANGEMENT FOR AN AGRICULTURAL TRACTOR
A ball-type coupling arrangement for an agricultural tractor including a coupling base with a coupling ball attached thereto for receiving a coupling socket, a coupling housing arranged on the coupling base, a hold-down device including a planar stop region formed on an outer contour, the hold-down device coupled to the coupling housing such that it is pivotable between a position locking the coupling ball and a position releasing the coupling ball, and a closure element attached to the coupling housing, the closure element contacting the planar stop region in a locking position to lock the hold-down device in its locking position.
Trailer hitch with safety arm
A trailer hitch with safety arm preferably includes a ball mount member, a hitch insert projection and a safety arm. The ball mount member preferably includes a ball leg and an insert leg. The ball leg extends forward and substantially horizontal from a bottom of the insert leg. A hitch ball hole is formed through the ball leg to receive a hitch ball. The hitch insert projection extends rearward and substantially horizontal from the insert leg. The hitch insert projection is preferably a square tube that has an outer perimeter, which is sized to be received by a female hitch receiver. A safety yoke is formed on an upper and front portion of the insert leg. The safety arm is retained in the yoke with a removable fastener and a quick release pin device. The safety arm pivots relative to the insert leg with the removable fastener.
AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE
In an automated guided vehicle, a connection mechanism includes a connecting part and a movable part, and is connected to an object by the connecting part. When the connecting part is in a first state and the movable part is at a first position, an end portion on the other side in a first direction of the connecting part contacts a surface on one side in the first direction of the movable part or penetrates the movable part in the first direction to protrude toward the other side in the first direction with respect to the surface on one side in the first direction of the movable part. When the connecting part is in the first state and the movable part is at a second position, the movable part is away from the connecting part. A force applied to the movable part maintains the movable part at the first position.
TUGGER CAGE CART LOCKING DEVICE
A system and method for securing the connection between carts that are configured to connect to each other to form a train of carts, as well as for securing the connection between a cart and a tugger that tows the carts. The system and method involves providing a spring biased blocking plate that is positioned above the boss of the drawbar when the drawbar is engaged with a hitch plate. The blocking plate limits vertical movement of the drawbar thereby preventing inadvertent disconnection of the drawbar from the hitch plate.
ANTI-RATTLE DEVICE FOR TRAILER HITCH
An anti-rattle hitch device is described. A rotating barrel pin is positioned proximate to the normal accessory port of receiving hitch housing. The pin cooperates with resilient bushings that are engineered to compress in overload situations, while urging the accessory drawbar flush against the upper, inner facing of the housing when the device is engaged under normal conditions. The resulting apparatus prevents unwanted rattling and play of the hitch and accessory without the need for loose or removable parts.
SAFETY CONNECTOR APPARATUS FOR TRAILER HITCHES
A ball-style hitch safety connector apparatus with a spoon safety connector made, as well as alternative designs, is disclosed herein. In an embodiment a spoon element is secured on the underside of the hitch, the spoon element including a spoon- or cup-shaped portion along with a handle. This spoon element presses up on the bottom of the ball assembly, in particular the underside where the nut and bolt are located that secure the ball to in place.
