PERSONAL AIR FILTRATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and methods for air filtration are disclosed. The apparatus includes a body and first and second replaceable filters. The body of the apparatus further contains an air-exchange assembly and a filter receiver attached to the air exchange assembly. The air-exchange assembly contains an exhaust tube with an open end and a closed end, two wings on opposite sides of the exhaust tube, and an intake check valve and an exhaust check valve inside the exhaust tube. The first replaceable filter surrounds the filter receiver; and the second replaceable filter is inside the filter receiver. Several apertures and the check valves are strategically disposed in the exhaust tube to achieve optimal air filtration and avoid contamination of a user's exhaust.
ADHESIVE FACIAL MASK
A facial mask for covering at least a part of a face of a user having at least one filter layer configured to filter air passing through the facial mask and having an outer surface being directed towards a skin of the user and an inner surface arranged opposite to the outer surface of the at least one filter layer. The mask further comprises an at least partly elastic carrier layer with an inner surface, which is directed towards the inner surface of the at least one filter layer, and an outer surface arranged opposite to the inner surface of the carrier layer. A size of the carrier layer is larger than a size of the at least one filter layer, such that a fixing portion of the carrier layer surrounds the at least one filter layer along at least a part of a perimeter of the at least one filter layer.

Respirator headband
A personal respiratory protection device comprising a main body having a headband attachment portion, a headband attached to the headband attachment portion by a headband bond module, wherein the module includes first and second non-woven tabs adhesively bonded to opposing sides of an end of the headband, the side of the first tab opposing the headband bond side being welded to the main body.
RESPIRATOR
A respirator for protecting against airborne particles includes a face gasket for providing a seal around the mouth and nose of a user, a frame attached to the gasket, a filter compression ring removably attached to the frame and a filter for filtering airborne particles from air. The filter is positioned between the frame and the filter compression ring. An eye protection accessory is attachable to the gasket. The respirator additionally includes a safety module that includes an air pressure sensor that can monitor the air pressure in the space bounded by the user's face and the filter. A processor analyzes the air pressure measurements obtained by the air pressure sensor and a vibration motor or a visual indicator. The processor can trigger the vibration motor and the visual indicator when the air pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold.
SOUND ATTENUATING MASK
A mask for interfacing with a user's face to reduce audible noise in a user's surroundings resulting from a user's voice. In some forms disclosed is a mask including a sound attenuating structure. In some forms the mask is also transparent or partially transparent to allow a view of the user's face.
Powered air breathing apparatus
A safety breathing apparatus has a sensor for measuring the difference in pressure between two point 1a, 1b in the gas delivered to a head unit 9. The sensor is used to measure the difference in the pressure of the gas supplied through the apparatus between the two points in the gas flow, and the pressure difference is then used to calculate the gas flow rate.

Balanced Device Providing Filtered Air for a User
A device for filtering air for a user comprising a frame formed in a generally oval-shaped band, the band encircling the user's head, with an upper portion extending above and behind the user's ears and a lower portion extending below and in front of the user's ears. The device includes components mounted to the frame, comprising an air intake filter mounted on the frame and communicating on one side with ambient air outside the device and on the other side with an inlet duct and an air outlet filter mounted on the frame and communicating on one side with air inside the device and on the other side with ambient air outside the device. The device also includes a battery-powered air mover mounted on the frame and operable to pull air through the air intake filter and through the inlet duct and push air out into the inside of the device and a rechargeable battery mounted on the frame to power the air mover. The device further includes a transparent face shield mounted on one side of the frame in such a way as to create an airtight seal between the face shield and the one side of the frame, a fabric component made from an air impermeable fabric and mounted on the other side of the frame in such a way as to create an airtight seal between the fabric component and the other side of the frame, and to encircle the user's neck, a head harness configured to rest on the user's head and support the frame with its components mounted thereon, and wherein the components are mounted on the upper portion the frame and on the lower portion of the frame so as to achieve a weight distribution ratio between the upper portion of the frame with components mounted thereon and the lower portion of the frame with components mounted thereon, the ratio being between 1 to 1.5 and 1.5 to 1.
Electronic respirator mask
An electronic respiratory mask capable of filtering air that passes through is disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a face mask includes a body having an inner volume that surrounds the user's mouth when the body is placed over the user's mouth, a first electrode located on the body, the first electrode sized and shaped to allow air to pass between the inner volume of the body and an outside environment when the body is placed over the user's mouth, and a second electrode located on the body, the second electrode sized and shaped to allow air to pass between the inner volume of the body and the outside environment when the body is placed over the user's mouth, wherein the first and second electrode create an electric field gradient that is capable of suspending microbes as air passes between the inner volume of the body and the outside environment.
