Damping System of a Two-Track Vehicle
20180105008 · 2018-04-19 ·

A damping system of a two-track vehicle includes a passive stabilizer having a torsion bar which runs in a vehicle transverse direction and having lever elements which adjoin the torsion bar at the end sides and which are connected to mutually oppositely situated wheel suspension arrangements of an axle of the vehicle. Two actuators are assigned to respective wheels of the wheel suspension arrangements and are mounted on the vehicle body. Each actuator has a drive by way of which a torque can be exerted on that section of the stabilizer which faces toward the respective wheel. Here, the actuators are in the form of electric motors and are designed to dampen vertical vibrations of the respective wheel or of the so-called unsprung mass, and/or vibrations of the vehicle body in a frequency range between 0 Hertz and at least 20 Hertz, through suitable regulation of the drive of the actuators and thus also through active introduction of forces into the system.

WHEEL SUSPENSION FOR A TWO-TRACK VEHICLE
20180072357 · 2018-03-15 · ·

A wheel suspension for a two-track vehicle having at least one stabilizer formed as a stabilizer torsion spring rod, with the stabilizer extending in the vehicle's transverse direction and having a drive lever on at least one vehicle side, which acts upon a wheel guidance element of the wheel suspension, and having at least one suspension spring, which is tensioned with a spring preload between the vehicle body and a wheel guidance element of the wheel suspension. The suspension spring is at least partially formed as a suspension spring/torsion spring rod. The suspension spring/torsion spring rod is arranged radially within the stabilizer torsion spring rod designed as a hollow rod.

Couplable motor vehicle with improved coupling

A motor vehicle includes a first wheel carrier to which is secured without any degree of freedom a rotational shaft of a wheel and which is displaceable between a remote position and a close position. The vehicle also includes a torsion bar including a first attachment point mechanically connected to the first wheel-carrier and a coupling bar securely attached to the chassis and includes, at a free end a coupling, the torsion bar including a second attachment point mechanically connected to the coupling bar in order to move the latter towards the upper position thereof as the first wheel-carrier moves towards its close position and in order to move it downwards as the first wheel-carrier moves towards its remote position.

SWITCHABLE BEARING BUSH FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

Bearing bushes, for example, for a chassis of a motor vehicle are disclosed. A bearing bush may include a shaft, a hub, and an elastomer element which is arranged radially therebetween. The bearing bush may be configured to be switched between a first and second stiffness levels. The hub may have a main body and a plurality of radially adjustable plungers which are arranged in the main body. The plungers may be configured to engage the elastomer element and change the stiffness of the bearing bush from the first stiffness level to the second stiffness level. The elastomer element may have a plurality of radial elements arranged on the main body and configured to be compressed via a respective plunger in order to increase the stiffness of the bearing bush. An actuator including an electric motor may be configured to radially adjust the plungers in the main body.

Suspension stabilization system and related methods

A suspension stabilization system may include a stabilizer bar having an end configured to connect to a suspension component of a vehicle, and a torsion shaft with an end connected to the stabilizer bar. A locking mechanism may be configured to rotationally couple and decouple at least a portion of the torsion shaft with a portion of a frame of the vehicle. Methods relate to stabilizing a vehicle suspension.

A rotation damper includes a damper housing that surrounds an electromagnetic damper motor which is disposed along a central axis of the rotation damper and which includes a rotor and a stator, and also surrounds means for generating a magnetic field on the rotor and the stator. The rotation damper further includes a coupling lever connected to a second mass, and a gear mechanism for transmitting and/or converting a relative rotation between the masses to the damper motor such that vibrations are dampened. The fastening part is connected to the damper housing for conjoint rotation therewith. The fastening part, along with the damper housing, is rotatably mounted on a bearing shaft-that is connected to the coupling lever. The gear mechanism and the damper motor are rotatably mounted on the bearing shaft
