A vehicular air conditioner includes a casing, a blower fan, and a heating heat exchanger. The air passage in the casing is divided into an outside air passage and an inside air passage. The heating heat exchanger is disposed downstream of the blower fan in the casing. The blower fan is disposed to extend over a first outside air space, a second outside air space, a first inside air space, and a second inside air space in the air passage. The rotational direction of the blower fan is set so that each of the plurality of blades of the blower fan passes through the first outside air space, the first inside air space, the second inside air space, and the second outside air space in this order when the plurality of blade are rotating.

Vehicular air conditioning unit

A vehicular air conditioning unit includes an air-conditioning case and a blower. The blower includes a blower fan accommodated in the air-conditioning case and configured to rotate about a fan axis to cause the air to flow through the case passage, and a blower motor accommodated in the air-conditioning case and configured to rotate the blower fan. The air-conditioning case includes a case body having a case opening hole that is located outward of the blower in a radial direction of the fan axis and opens in the radial direction, and an opening hole cover fixed to the case body to close the case opening hole. The opening hole cover is detachable from the case body. The case opening hole has a size that allows the blower to pass through the case opening hole when the blower is taken out from the air-conditioning case.

A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle. The HVAC system includes an airflow inlet case defining a fresh air inlet and a recirculation air inlet. The airflow inlet case includes an evaporator and a filter both aligned with an axis of rotation of a blower configured to draw airflow through the airflow inlet case into a heater case. The recirculation air inlet faces the heater case. The airflow inlet case is configured to be mounted on an engine side of a vehicle firewall such that the recirculation air inlet is at the firewall.

An air conditioning unit for a vehicle includes: an air conditioning case defining an in-case passage in which air flows to a vehicle interior; a cooler arranged in the air conditioning case and configured to cool the air flowing in the in-case passage; a blower that includes a blower motor and an impeller configured to be rotated by the blower motor and generate an air flow in the in-case passage; and a cooling passage portion defining a motor cooling passage in which air flows to cool the blower motor. The blower is arranged downstream of the cooler with respect to the air flow in the air conditioning case. The motor cooling passage includes a passage inlet located downstream of the impeller with respect to the air flow in the in-case passage, and a passage outlet located upstream of the impeller with respect to the air flow in the in-case passage.

HVAC motor mount for noise suppression

A blower assembly for an airflow medium, such as in a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. The blower assembly has a case defining an airflow inlet and an airflow outlet. An airflow generator is mounted within the case. Rotation of the airflow generator draws airflow into the case through the airflow inlet, directs airflow through the case, and pushes airflow out of the case through the airflow outlet. The motor is entirely within the case and is mounted on an upstream side of the airflow generator with respect to direction of airflow produced by the airflow generator through the case.
