The second side frame member is spaced from the first side frame member and is configured for releasable attachment to a D-pillar of a body of a vehicle. The upper frame member extends between the first and second side frame members. The at least one stair extends between the first and second side frame members and is spaced from the upper frame member. The door is pivotally coupled with the door frame. The support member is configured for releasable attachment to a body of a vehicle. The support member is releasably attached to the first side frame member. A vehicle including a rear curbside door assembly and methods thereof are also provided.
ENCLOSURE FOR A VEHICLE SYSTEM
A barrier door may include a section including an outer stationary portion and an inner movable portion disposed within the outer stationary portion, an actuator, and a controller. The actuator may move the inner movable portion between different positions to control flow of air between a protective enclosure and a volume outside of the protective enclosure. The controller may monitor one or more operating characteristics of the actuator and may modify an operational status of the actuator to control the flow of the air between the protective enclosure and the volume outside of the protective enclosure based at least in part on the one or more operating characteristics.
Convertible vehicle door emergency removal device
A convertible vehicle door emergency removal device comprising a pair of door members, a stretcher frame member and a pad member. The door members each include a first door member and a second door member and each door member is removably attached to a corresponding vehicle door frame for opening and closing. Each door member includes a pair of mating hinges for attachment to one another and a pair of strap handles for transporting a stretcher frame member. The stretcher frame member is formed by attaching the pair of door members to one another after each door member is removed from a corresponding door frame. The pair of door members are attached to one another by connecting the mating hinges to one another. The stretcher frame member is configured to receive an occupant for transporting. The pad member overlays a top surface of the stretcher frame member. Moreover, the pad member is inflatable and includes an inflatable cushion for providing cushion support to an injured region of the occupant.
Insulated curtain for vehicles
This invention is directed to a removable insulation curtain for a vehicle. The removable insulation curtain is made of a multi-layered flexible cover and can be used to cover openings in the vehicle, such as side and rear doors. The curtain is secured to the vehicle with removable fasteners around the perimeter of the door openings. The removable insulation curtain has a slot for people to enter and exit the vehicles without taking the curtain off and a window to let in outside light. The slot of removable insulation curtain enables side and rear doors of a vehicle to be used for ingress and egress while the tight fitment around vehicle doors reduces fluctuation of interior temperature relative to ambient temperature.
Plug door device
Provided is a small plug door device having a slide base is installed slidably in a vehicle width direction relative to a fixed base. A door drive mechanism for moving one door in a vehicle front-rear direction via a connecting portion has a drive portion including an electric motor, a drive wheel member, a follower wheel member, and an endless member, and is installed on the slide base. A guide portion guides a shaft portion provided on the connecting portion so as to move the shaft portion in a vehicle width direction. In a double-speed rail in which a pinion is disposed between two racks, one rack is connected to the slide base, the other rack is connected to the door side, and the pinion is connected to the connecting portion.
Vehicle door structure
A vehicle door structure includes a door lock unit configured to lock a sliding door and a swing door when the sliding door is in a fully opened state, and a lock detection unit configured to detect a locked state between the sliding door and the swing door by the door lock unit. The door lock unit has a locking pin disposed at a guide body, a locking pin biasing member configured to bias the locking pin toward the swing door, and a fitting section formed at a slide rail and fitted onto the locking pin. The lock detection unit detects the locked state between the sliding door and the swing door by detecting the locking pin being fitted into the fitting section.
Emergency exit door for a vehicle
An emergency exit door assembly for a vehicle. The door assembly comprises a main panel including an interior-facing surface and exterior-facing surface. The main panel is rotatably connected to the vehicle, such that the main panel is configured to selectively alternate between a closed position in which the interior-facing surface faces an interior of the vehicle and an open position in which the interior-facing surface faces an exterior of the vehicle. The door assembly additionally comprises one or more projection members extending from the interior-facing surface of the main panel. The projection members each include a first major surface configured to support articles within an interior of the vehicle while the main panel is in the closed position. The door assembly further comprises a support mechanism configured to support the main panel in the open position.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR POWERED CLOSING OF CAR DOORS
The technology relates to assisting in the closing of a vehicle door by automatically pulling a door closed. One or more computing devices having one or more processors may receive, from one or more sensors, information indicating that a door on the vehicle is not closed. In response to the received information indicating that the door is not closed, the one or more computing devices may determine to send a triggering signal to close the door. The one or more computing devices may send the triggering signal to the actuator and the actuator may receive the triggering signal. In response to receiving the triggering signal the actuator may be activated to close the door of the vehicle without user input.
DOOR OPENING AND CLOSING APPARATUS
A door opening and closing apparatus includes: a body defining an opening and an interior space, the opening being open toward the outside of a vehicle body and the interior space defined inside the vehicle body so as to be connected to the opening; a door configured to open and close the opening; a guide part disposed in the interior space and guiding the door such that the door moves in a first direction and a direction opposite to the first direction, the first direction being a direction from the outside of the vehicle body to the inside of the vehicle body; and a transport part disposed in the interior space and that moves the door in a second direction and a direction opposite to the second direction.
CONNECTION SYSTEM FOR HOUSE AND VEHICLE
