ITEM HOLDING STRUCTURE
An item holding structure in which at least one convex part and/or a plurality of concave parts are provided in an upper end part of a side wall part on a vehicle interior side in a recess-shaped part provided in an interior material of a door of a vehicle and operable by a passenger when opening and closing the door, wherein the interior material of the door has a hollow part that recesses so as to project in an outer side of a vehicle width direction under the recess-shaped part, and the item held by the convex part and/or concave part can be accommodated in the recessed part.
Vehicle furniture system
A vehicle furniture system having an article of furniture and a carriage configured to carry the article of furniture between first and second positions within a body portion of a vehicle when the carriage is coupled to the body portion of the vehicle, the vehicle furniture system comprising a first actuator configured to deploy the article of furniture from the carriage when the carriage is in at least one of the first and second positions.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an openable door, a discharge port, a valve and a rotation mechanism. The discharge port communicates a vehicle cabin space with an outside, and discharges air in a vehicle cabin to the outside. The valve is rotatable between an open position for opening the discharge port and a closed position for closing the discharge port. The rotating mechanism couples the door with the valve such that the valve is rotated from the closed position to the open position when the door is opening, and rotated from the open position to the closed position when the door is closing. The rotating mechanism does not bring the valve being rotated from the open position to reach the closed position at a moment when the door is closed, and further rotates the valve to the closed position when the door is in a state of being closed.
AUTOMOBILE INTERIOR COMPONENT
An automobile interior part includes a base, which has a surface and a back surface, and also includes a skin, which has a back surface integrally laminated on the surface of the base. The automobile interior part has a main body and a flange that is continued to the main body. The skin has a fold part that is formed between the main body and the flange. The base has a body base that constitutes the main body and also has a flange base that constitutes the flange and that is separated from the body base at the fold part. The back surface of the skin between the body base and the flange base is exposed along the fold part. The automobile interior part has a good appearance.
Door assembly for a motor vehicle
A door assembly for a motor vehicle includes a door trim panel attached to a door body on the vehicle inside. The door trim panel includes a first impact region and a second impact region formed integrally therewith, wherein at each of the impact regions, an intermediate space is formed between the door trim panel and the door body. In order to allow an optimized protection of an occupant's pelvic region from injury by a vehicle door in a side impact, the door trim panel includes a channel portion, which is recessed back towards the door body, is formed between the impact regions and has two mutually opposite wall portions extending in the vehicle transverse direction, each of which is formed integrally with an impact region.
Load-sensing closure panel
A vehicle includes a body, an aperture defined by the body, a closure panel, and a load sensor. The closure panel is movable between an open position and a closed position. The closure panel covers at least a portion of the aperture when the closure panel is in the closed position. The load sensor is coupled to the closure panel. The load sensor senses a load that is applied to the closure panel.
Vehicle door assembly
A vehicle door assembly a first reinforcing bracket, a fastener and a vibration absorbing member. The first reinforcing bracket extends from a forward portion of an inner door panel to a rearward portion of the inner door panel. The first reinforcing bracket has a first main surface. The fastener is attached to the first reinforcing member such that a head portion thereof is spaced apart from of the first main surface. The vibration absorbing member has a main body with a first end and a second end. The first end has a slot that extends from an edge of the first end inward. The slot is dimensioned and shaped for sliding installation on to the fastener such that the first end of the vibration absorbing member is located between the head portion of the fastener and the first surface of the first reinforcing bracket.
VEHICLE OCCUPANCY REMINDER FLAP FOR EXITING DRIVER
For a hanging flexible flap having a top and bottom end for reminding a driver, upon exiting, of the vehicle's occupancy for a vehicle having a driver-side door handle including a lever operable for opening the door, deployment, proceeding from a pre-deployment state in which the flap is in a folded-up configuration such that the bottom end is releasably attached to a second interior-side location vertically above a first interior-side location to which the flap is attached and both locations are vertically above the lever and jointly high enough that the flap does not cover the lever along at least most of the lever's length, includes undoing the releasable attachment; and unfolding the flap, or letting it fall, to hang down covering the lever along at least most of the lever's length. Alternatively, pre-deployment may be in a spring-biased rolled-up configuration, with the flap unrollable down to cover the lever.
HVAC door with dentil features
An air handling system for a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system comprises a housing including a sealing surface, a door wall disposed in the housing having a perimeter, and a sealing element disposed about the perimeter of the door wall. The sealing element includes a base, a stem, and a tip. The base is coupled to the perimeter of the door wall, the stem is formed between the base and the tip, and the tip is configured to selectively engage the sealing surface of the housing. A plurality of dentil features project from the stem of the sealing element and is arranged in a linear array extending parallel to the perimeter of the door wall. The array of the dentil features is configured to reduce an incidence of whistling when a flow of air passes by the tip of the sealing element.
Vehicle
A vehicle is provided in which separation of positively charged airflow from a positively charged surface of a vehicle body can be prevented. A vehicle body is insulated from a road surface, and positive static charges accumulate on the vehicle body during propulsion. The vehicle comprises a self-discharge device adapted to decrease a positive potential of a window pane at which positively charged airflow flowing along a vehicle surface deviates therefrom during propulsion by discharging the static electricity through the airflow to produce negative ions according to the positive potential of the window pane.
