Rolling Tonneau Cover
A tonneau cover assembly that selectively covers a truck bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a cover and a longitudinally extending rail located adjacent a sidewall of the truck bed. The longitudinally extending rail includes an attachment member. The attachment member extends longitudinally along with the rail and at least a portion of the attachment member is located over a portion of the bed. The cover includes a stiffener located adjacent the attachment member of the longitudinally extending rail.
Multi-position clamp assembly and tonneau cover
A tonneau cover for covering the cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau cover includes a frame, a cover and a clamp assembly. The frame includes opposing side rails, opposing end rails, and at least one cross bow that extends between the opposing side rails. The cross bow also includes portions defining a multiple mounting regions. The clamp assembly is configured for selective mounting to the cross bow in one of the mounting regions and is rotatably moveable about the cross bow between a use position and a nonuse position, while mounted in any of the mounting regions.
MULTI-POSITION CLAMP ASSEMBLY AND TONNEAU COVER
A tonneau cover for covering the cargo box of a pickup truck. The tonneau cover includes a frame, a cover and a clamp assembly. The frame includes opposing side rails, opposing end rails, and at least one cross bow that extends between the opposing side rails. The cross bow also includes portions defining a multiple mounting regions. The clamp assembly is configured for selective mounting to the cross bow in one of the mounting regions and is rotatably moveable about the cross bow between a use position and a nonuse position, while mounted in any of the mounting regions.
Vehicle top assembly
A vehicle top assembly having a housing and a pair of rails that are perpendicular to and extend away from the housing. A roller is rotatably mounted within the housing. A layer of material is attached to the roller and has one or more locking members attached to a side edge.
SOFT FRONT COCKPIT COVER
A soft panel top assembly for a vehicle in sealing engagement with a hard top portion of a roof. The soft panel top assembly has a fixed portion attached to the vehicle and a lightweight pivotal portion that folds back to provide the occupant a quick and easy open air effect. Two door rails of the soft panel top assembly are connected to the vehicle. Two side rail linkage assemblies are attached to header, which is secured to a windshield frame when in a closed position, and are connected at pivot points created with a bracket attached to the door rails to allow the pivotal portion to pivot to an open position. The soft panel top assembly includes a rear header that is lightweight and engages with the existing seal of the hard top roof portion to provide a weatherproof seal.
Locking device and system for truck cover
The present disclosure discloses a locking structure and a pickup truck compartment cover including the locking structure. The locking structure includes two fixing side frames and a locking frame. A locking slot is disposed on an inner side wall of the fixing side frame. Locking cartridge assemblies corresponding to the fixing side frames are respectively disposed at both ends of the locking frame, and the locking frame is further provided with a sliding cartridge assembly. The locking cartridge assembly comprises a locking cartridge, a locking member, and at least one locking spring. The sliding cartridge assembly comprises a control cartridge, a sliding handle, and an inhaul cable member, When the locking frame is mounted at the end portions of the two fixing side frames, the sliding handle is configured to drive the inhaul cable member to make a lock tongue break away from a locking slot.
MAGNETIC SOFT TOP ASSEMBLY
An apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a forward magnetic assembly that is formed along the forward edge of the main body. The forward magnetic assembly includes: (1) a reinforcement that is secured to the main body along at least a portion of the forward edge; (2) a first magnet that is secured to the main body along at least a portion of the forward edge of the main body and positioned to be substantially adjacent to the third reinforcement, where the first magnets is dimensioned such that first magnet, as secured to the main body, is configured to form an interference fit within a gap of a forward assembly of a vehicle; and (3) a fourth reinforcement that is formed along at least a portion of the forward edge of the main body, where the fourth reinforcement is positioned to be substantially adjacent to the first magnet.
Locking Device Comprising a Link Mechanism and a Slide
A locking device for a convertible top includes a locking support, a locking hook which can be translationally and rotationally shifted so as to be displaced between a disengaged position and an engaged position and which is engaged with a locking counterpart when in the engaged position, and a drive for the locking hook. The drive includes a driving element which is driven rotationally about an axis of rotation by a driving unit and which drives, via a link mechanism, a slide which can be moved on the locking support and which is connected to the locking hook, the locking hook being displaced when the slide is moved. The link mechanism includes a coupling link which is hinged to the slide and a support link which is hinged to the coupling link and which is guided in a guide track of the locking support when the driving element is actuated.
Soft front cockpit cover
A soft panel top assembly for a vehicle in sealing engagement with a hard top portion of a roof. The soft panel top assembly has a fixed portion attached to the vehicle and a lightweight pivotal portion that folds back to provide the occupant a quick and easy open air effect. Two door rails of the soft panel top assembly are connected to the vehicle. Two side rail linkage assemblies are attached to header, which is secured to a windshield frame when in a closed position, and are connected at pivot points created with a bracket attached to the door rails to allow the pivotal portion to pivot to an open position. The soft panel top assembly includes a rear header that is lightweight and engages with the existing seal of the hard top roof portion to provide a weatherproof seal.
Hybrid tonneau cover
A tonneau cover for a cargo bed of a truck includes a rail system, and a panel secured to the rail system. At least a portion of the rail system or the panel is a layer jamming member having a layer jamming material operable to exhibit a first stiffness in response to a first confining pressure and a second stiffness in response to a second confining pressure. The layer jamming member may include all or a portion of the panel to provide specific regions of the cover, and/or may include portions of the rail system.
