A hollow seal member includes a first base root and a second base root which extend from an outer-cabin side wall of the installation base member. The hollow seal member in cross section protrudes from the first base root outwardly to a first turning point, curves toward a base root of the flange and connects with the second base root. A side of the first base root includes solid (dense) material. An interval between the first and the second base roots includes sponge material. A first border between the solid (dense) material of the side of the first base root and the sponge material is closer to an exterior of the automobile than the first turning point.

A thermoplastic elastomer composition includes 15 mass % or more and 36 mass % or less of organically modified nanodiamond contained in a base material formed of dynamically cross-linked thermoplastic elastomer. Good sliding property is obtained and excellent wear resistance is realized by containing the 15 mass % or more of organically modified nanodiamond.

A thermoplastic elastomer composition includes 15 mass % or more and 36 mass % or less of organically modified nanodiamond contained in a base material formed of dynamically cross-linked thermoplastic elastomer. Good sliding property is obtained and excellent wear resistance is realized by containing the 15 mass % or more of organically modified nanodiamond.

The seal comprises at least one ascending strand and one top strand, the ascending strand having an outer branch to be mounted in sealing contact with the vertical edge element and the sliding window, an inner branch to be mounted on the frame and a connecting branch, a groove receiving, in a vertically sliding manner, means for guiding the window rigidly connected to the inner face of the same. The groove is formed on the outer branch and is suitable for being positioned facing the vertical element.

In particular, the weather strip includes a base portion and two sidewalls located on opposite edges of the base portion. The base portion and sidewalls each include a strip of first material and joints between the base portion and the sidewalls each include a strip of second material more flexible than the first material. The weather strip further includes at least one projection and the glass run channel includes at least one opening for establishing a press fit engagement with the at least one projection. In addition to the first two materials, the weather strip may also be formed of an additional third material having a low friction index and located to come into direct contact with a windowpane. The weather strip is co-extruded out of the first and second material.

COMPOSITION INCLUDING SILANE-GRAFTED POLYOLEFIN

A silane-grafted polyolefin composition is disclosed and includes a desired reduced specific weight material. The composition finds application in a wide array of uses, and in particular automotive and uses such as windshield wipers, where this composition is used in place of conventional materials such as TPV and EPDM rubber formulations.
