SEALING STRUCTURE OF DOOR WEATHER STRIP
An outer lip is continuous with an outer-cabin side wall which has a linear shape of a hollow seal member. The outer lip makes elastic contact with a surface of a body in a direction substantially perpendicular when a door is closed. A rear lip extends from a position close to a base root of the outer lip toward an outer-cabin side and makes elastic contact with a peripheral edge of the door. A thickness of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is not less than a thickness of a vertical part of the outer lip; and an inner-cabin side surface of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is closer to an inside of the automobile than an inner-cabin side surface of the vertical part of the outer lip.
PROFILE STRIP ARRANGEMENT
A profile strip arrangement includes a profile strip made of a profile material. The profile strip has a first connecting area configured to form a connection to an edge area of a windshield of a motor vehicle, and has a second connecting area configured to form a connection to a part that is adjacent to the windshield. The first connecting area has a lower connecting section which interacts with an inside of the edge area of the windshield and which has at least one free surface section that is free of the profile material. The at least one free surface section is formed by a surface of an additional element that is made of a material that differs from that of the profile strip.

Openable Vehicle Roof Comprising a Weatherstrip Arrangement on a Solid Roof Element
An openable vehicle roof having a solid roof element, a roof opening and roof opening system having a cover element openable by displacement kinematics. The solid roof having a weatherstrip arrangement at its front edge and its lateral edges disposed on either side of a vertical longitudinal center roof plane, the front edge of the cover element abutting a transverse leg of the weatherstrip arrangement when the cover element is in the closed position, and the displacement kinematics having a kinematic unit on either side of the vertical longitudinal center roof plane, each kinematic unit having a raising lever which slides on a respective longitudinal leg of the weatherstrip arrangement when the cover element is being displaced in the longitudinal roof direction. The longitudinal legs of the weatherstrip arrangement are each connected to the transverse leg via a corner piece made of an elastomer blended with a low-friction additive.
MOUNTING STRUCTURE FOR WATERPROOF RUBBER STRIP OF VEHICLE COVER
The application discloses a mounting structure for a waterproof rubber strip of a vehicle cover includes a vehicle cover and an edge rubber strip. A flat adhesive surface is provided on the edge rubber strip. The edge rubber strip is sealingly adhered and fixed with the vehicle cover through the flat adhesive surface. The mounting structure further includes a first joint. The edge rubber strip is provided with an L-shaped engaging portion. The first joint is fixedly mounted on the vehicle cover. An end of the engaging portion is embedded in the first joint, and the engaging portion is located between the first joint and the vehicle cover. The disclosure presents the following advantages that: the edge rubber strip includes the flat adhesive surface therewith, and is sealingly adhered to the vehicle cover through the flat adhesive surface, so that water does not leak from a slit between the edge rubber strip and the vehicle cover. In addition, the edge rubber strip is provided with the L-shaped engaging portion, and the first joint cooperates with the vehicle cover to clamp the engaging portion, so that the edge rubber strip is sealed and fixed on the vehicle cover, with a stable structure and a good sealing performance.
