Seal for automobile door
A seal for an automobile door includes a glass run and a belt line inner seal. The glass run has a vertical portion which includes a vertical seal lip, and the belt line inner seal includes an upper belt line seal lip and a lower belt line seal lip. The vertical seal lip is integral and unitary with ends of the upper and lower belt line seal lips, and the vertical portion includes a A-divider wall portion extending vertically and protruding toward the outside of a cabin of the automobile between the upper and lower belt line seal lips. A predetermined gap is formed between the lower belt line seal lip and the divider wall portion when the window glass is in an open state, and the lower belt line seal lip contacts the divider wall portion when the window glass is in a closed state.
Sealing structure of door weather strip
An outer lip is continuous with an outer-cabin side wall which has a linear shape of a hollow seal member. The outer lip makes elastic contact with a surface of a body in a direction substantially perpendicular when a door is closed. A rear lip extends from a position close to a base root of the outer lip toward an outer-cabin side and makes elastic contact with a peripheral edge of the door. A thickness of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is not less than a thickness of a vertical part of the outer lip; and an inner-cabin side surface of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is closer to an inside of the automobile than an inner-cabin side surface of the vertical part of the outer lip.

WEATHER STRIP AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An extrusion die includes a die and a core, and the core includes a movable core portion that is movable along an extrusion direction and a fixed core portion. The movable core portion has non-similar cross-sectional shapes at front and rear two positions along the extrusion direction. A first portion of the elongated weather strip is molded in a state where the movable core portion is disposed at an advance position, and a second portion of the elongated weather strip is molded in a state where the movable core portion is disposed at a retreat position. During the molding of the second portion, a supply amount per unit time of a material for the sealing portion to a molding space for the hollow sealing portion that is secured between the core and the die is set to be larger than that during the molding of the first portion.
Sealing structure for automobile door
It is an object of the present disclosure to improve installation workability by reducing the risk of installation failures of a belt line sealing member in the case where a vertical glass run and a sealing member are installed separately to a door panel. A belt line sealing member 20 includes a panel insertion groove 24 opening downward. The belt line sealing member 20 includes an end portion provided with a stopper portion 51 reducing the risk of rim portions 111a and 111b of a notch 111 of an inner peripheral flange 109 entering the panel insertion groove 24.

WEATHER STRIP FOR AUTOMOBILE
The weather strip configured to be attached to the automobile body opening portion is an elongated member having a length configured to correspond to a side portion and a corner portion of the automobile body opening portion and includes a hollow sealing portion. A surface of the sealing portion corresponding to a floor-side side portion and a surface of the sealing portion corresponding to a floor-side corner portion are continuous to each other. A wall thickness of the sealing portion corresponding to the floor-side side portion is set to be smaller than a wall thickness of the sealing portion corresponding to the floor-side corner portion. The sealing portion corresponding to the floor-side side portion includes a portion having a smallest wall thickness among the entire sealing portion.

Weatherstrip assembly for sealing between a frame and a closure member and a method for producing the same
A weatherstrip assembly for a vehicle. The assembly includes a body having a base and first and second legs which define a channel. The body includes an interior base surface, a first interior leg surface, and a second interior leg surface disposed within the channel. The assembly includes at least one sealing lip having an abutment surface and a wearstrip disposed along at least one of the interior base surface, the first and second interior leg surfaces, and the abutment surface and formed of a thermoplastic polyethylene material. The wearstrip has a plurality of alternating wear sections and gaps that define a series of alternating semi-rigid and flexible sections, respectively, with each wear section having first and second surfaces. The first surface of one of the wear sections and the second surface of an adjacent wear section face each other to define the gap.
