Provided is a weather strip for a vehicle according to the present disclosure. The weather strip includes: a fixing part fixed to a vehicle body or an opening/closing part of a vehicle; a sealing part formed on one side of the fixing part and formed in a hollow cross section therein to seal between the vehicle body and the opening/closing part; a sensor installation part positioned to be spaced apart from an inner surface of the sealing part in the sealing part and accommodating an anti-pinch sensor therein; and at least one sensor operation part protruding from the inner surface of the sealing part toward the sensor installation part by a predetermined length in the inner surface of the sealing part to pressurize the sensor installation part when the sealing part is deformed by an external force.

SEALING STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

A sealing structure for use on an automobile having a weather strip and an interior member wherein the weather strip includes an installation base member having an inner-cabin side wall, an outer-cabin side wall, a connecting wall and holding lips; and a seal member. The installation base member couples to a flange vertically formed along a peripheral edge of an opening corresponding to a door. The seal member is formed on the outer-cabin side wall and makes elastic contact with a door glass. The interior member is provided on an inner-cabin side of the inner-cabin side wall. An end of the interior member extends toward the connecting wall. A projection is formed on an outer circumference of a connecting part between the outer-cabin side wall and the connecting wall. The projection extends in an internal circumferential direction and covers the end of the interior member from an outer-cabin side.

AUTOMOBILES WEATHER STRIP STRUCTURE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD

A method for manufacturing an automobile weather strip comprises: (a) weather strip manufacturing step wherein the seam material and a thermoplastic elastomer are extruded and molded; (b) pretreatment step wherein the surface of the weather strip manufactured is pretreated; (c) slip agent applying step wherein a slip agent made by mixing silicone and polyurethane is applied to the surface of the weather strip pretreated through the pretreatment step; and (d) curing step wherein the slip agent coating layer formed through the slip agent applying step is cured.

EPDM BASED RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR SPONGE SECTION IN WEATHER STRIP OF PASSENGER CAR

An ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) rubber composition for a sponge in a weather strip is provided. In the EPDM rubber composition free sulfur and 1,6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)-hexane (BDBzTH) are included in a EPDM rubber having a pattern viscosity (ML.sub.1+8 at 125° C.) value of 90 or more and a content of 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene (ENB) of 9 wt % or more. The EPDM rubber composition can improve compression set and provides a solution to the persistent discoloration problem of the EPDM rubber. Provided herein are EPDM compositions that are useful as a material of a sponge section in a weather strip of a passenger car.

WEATHER STRIP AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A weather strip couples to a flange with curved parts of a sliding door of an automobile. The weather strip includes an installation base member, a hollow part, and an insert. The installation base member couples to the flange and includes an inner-cabin side wall, a first outer-cabin side wall, and a connecting wall. Part of the installation base member is cut out, to provide a cut-out part. The part couples to the curved parts. The cut-out part is subjected to die molding, to provide a die-molded part. The hollow part is integrally formed with the installation base member by extrusion molding. The insert is shaped in conformance with the curved parts and is embedded in the die-molded part with a plurality of concave shaped parts of the insert abutted with a plurality of pins of a die under the die molding.

MODULAR THERMAL ISOLATION BARRIER FOR DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE

A data processing equipment structure includes a plurality of vertical and horizontal frame components, which, together, define an equipment structure frame, and a plurality of panels disposed relative to the equipment structure frame to define a periphery. At least one of the plurality of vertical and horizontal frame components is an extruded strut having a generally uniform cross-section. The extruded strut includes an outwardly-facing channel extending along each of a pair of opposing sides of the extruded strut, at least one of which includes a set of evenly-spaced ridges, extending along each of two sides of the channel, for accommodating a threaded fastener. The extruded strut further includes one or more ledges, each having a depth sufficient to accommodate a thickness of one of the plurality of panels.
