Vehicle moisture drainage seal

A vehicle door seal includes a first wall portion and a second wall portion extending from the first wall portion, the first wall portion and second wall portion combining to define a flow passage. A projection extends from an exterior surface of the second wall portion along an entire length of the second wall portion. The projection is structured to convey excess moisture from a relatively higher portion of the seal downwardly toward another, relatively lower portion of the seal for drainage.

A separate type or wire type insert is embedded in the mounting base portion. A tip part of the cover lip is provided with a tip thick walled portion which bulges toward the vehicle inner side wall side.

The pillar P side of the roof-side seal lip 34 is formed so as to be closer to the roof R side of the pillar-side seal lip 43 toward an end of the pillar P side. When the door 110 is closed, the roof-side seal lip 34 comes into contact with the pillar-side seal lip 43.

The pillar P side of the roof-side seal lip 34 is formed so as to be closer to the roof R side of the pillar-side seal lip 43 toward an end of the pillar P side. When the door 110 is closed, the roof-side seal lip 34 comes into contact with the pillar-side seal lip 43.

Weather strip

A weather strip made of an elastic material includes an insert member having a plurality of through holes which is embedded in a corner portion of the weather strip. In the corner portion, a clip insertion hole in which a clip for attaching the corner portion to the automobile body is insertable is formed, and in the insert member, a clip hole is formed in a position corresponding to the clip insertion hole. In the outer peripheral portion of the clip hole, an additional hole communicating with the clip hole is formed, and the elastic materials of which the corner portion is made and that are situated on the obverse and reverse sides of the insert member are united together through the additional hole.

A sealing strip disclosed herein comprises a deformable sealing profile with a teardrop cross-section, a channel running along a length of the sealing strip, multiple parallel aligned reinforcement ribs, and an adhesive layer on a first outwardly curved side on an outer surface of the deformable sealing profile. In an embodiment, the sealing strip comprises one of an E-shaped cross-section and about a 270 degree rotated generally T-shaped cross-section. In another embodiment, the cross-section of the sealing profile comprises a vertically aligned rectangular base portion and dovetail portion extending from a first lateral side of the rectangular base portion near the midway on the rectangular base portion. In another embodiment, the rectangular base portion comprises a first wall portion and a second wall portion extending from a first end and a second end, respectively, of the first lateral side of the rectangular base portion.

Glass plate module

A glass plate module according to the present invention is a glass plate module to be attached at a position adjacent to a door of a vehicle that can be opened and closed, and the glass plate module includes a glass plate, a window assembly that is fixed to a peripheral edge of the glass plate, and a molding portion that includes a tubular molding portion main body provided with a through hole extending along the window assembly, and is fixed to the window assembly. The molding portion main body is configured to come into contact with a portion of the closed door.
