A shutter seal member provided on the shutter makes elastic contact with the tailgate. A tailgate seal member provided on the tailgate makes elastic contact with the bed liner seal member. First and second seal beads on an upper surface are provided on an upper wall of a protrusion of the bed liner seal member. The touch member touches the first and second seal beads.

Sealing structure for openable roof-equipped vehicle

Corner portions of an upper edge of the rear-side roof 24 close to the side windows protrude toward a front of the vehicle beyond a rear frame portion of the associated side window. Pillars are positioned on the respective corner portions inside the vehicle. Weatherstrips 34 each include a lip portion 34b covering an upper end portion of the associated pillar from outside of the vehicle while the roof is closed. Sealing members 40 are respectively provided on the inside of the corner portions. An extended sealing portion 40b extends from each sealing member 40. The extended sealing portion 40b blocks a gap, formed between the associated corner portion and the associated pillar and intended for the lip portion 34b, while the front-side roof is open. The lip portion 34b of the weatherstrip 34 is sandwiched between the extended sealing portion 40b and the pillar while the roof is closed.

SEALING STRUCTURE FOR SLIDING DOOR WITH TOUCH SENSOR

A sealing structure includes a sliding door, a touch sensor, an inner seal, a drip seal, a buffer, and a projection. The inner seal couples to a door opening. The drip seal extends in a front and rear direction of an automobile body, is above the door opening, and is closer to an upper part of the automobile body than the inner seal. The drip seal and the inner seal make elastic contact with the sliding door. The buffer extends in an upper and lower direction of the automobile body and protrudes outwardly. The buffer is provided on a part of a body panel, which is closer to a front part of the automobile body than the door opening, and faces and is close to a flange when the sliding door is in a closed position. The projection extends from the touch sensor and makes elastic contact with the buffer.

Profile element for connecting a vehicle window pane to an auxiliary device

A profile element is provided for connecting a window pane to an auxiliary device. The profile element includes first and second legs formed from rigid polymer material and that collectively define a U-shaped retention cavity. A resilient knee element is connected to a leading end of the first leg, and a rigid detent element is connected to the knee element opposite the connection to the first leg. The rigid detent element extends into the retention cavity and is configured to snap into locking engagement with a fastening dart on the auxiliary device, to provide an audible and tactile snap that can confirm proper assembly of the elements. The second leg does not deflect relative to the first leg during installation or extraction of the auxiliary device, and the rigid contact points produced at the retention cavity enable lateral movements of the auxiliary device when necessary.
