Door structure
A door structure includes an outer panel and an inner panel. The inner panel is formed from a panel inner member located on an inner side of a vehicle interior and a panel outer member located on an outer side of the vehicle interior. A sealing member which comes into contact with an A pillar serving as a body side member and isolates the inner side of the vehicle interior from the outer side of the vehicle interior is attached to the panel inner member at an overlap portion serving as a junction between the panel outer member and the panel inner member.

Door sealing device, door sealing system and door leaf for a rail vehicle
The present invention relates to a door sealing device sealing a gap between a door leaf and a frame for a rail vehicle, where the door sealing device includes a flexible tubular hollow chamber formed by two opposite contact walls and two opposite side walls, where, in the mounted state of the door sealing device, a first contact wall of the contact walls faces the door leaf and a second contact wall of the contact walls faces the frame so that the hollow chamber is subject to compression in the event of a closing motion of the door leaf, thereby moving the contact walls towards each other, and where the sidewalls are formed to be buckled along predetermined buckle lines in response to the compression.
SEALING STRUCTURE OF DOOR WEATHER STRIP
An outer lip is continuous with an outer-cabin side wall which has a linear shape of a hollow seal member. The outer lip makes elastic contact with a surface of a body in a direction substantially perpendicular when a door is closed. A rear lip extends from a position close to a base root of the outer lip toward an outer-cabin side and makes elastic contact with a peripheral edge of the door. A thickness of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is not less than a thickness of a vertical part of the outer lip; and an inner-cabin side surface of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is closer to an inside of the automobile than an inner-cabin side surface of the vertical part of the outer lip.
SEALING STRUCTURE OF DOOR WEATHER STRIP
An outer lip is continuous with an outer-cabin side wall which has a linear shape of a hollow seal member. The outer lip makes elastic contact with a surface of a body in a direction substantially perpendicular when a door is closed. A rear lip extends from a position close to a base root of the outer lip toward an outer-cabin side and makes elastic contact with a peripheral edge of the door. A thickness of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is not less than a thickness of a vertical part of the outer lip; and an inner-cabin side surface of the outer-cabin side wall of the hollow seal member is closer to an inside of the automobile than an inner-cabin side surface of the vertical part of the outer lip.
INDEPENDENTLY OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE DOORS WITH AN ARTICULATING DOOR INTERFACE
A door system is provided for a motor vehicle. That door system includes (a) a first independently operable first, door, (b) an independently operable second door, (c) an articulating door interface carried on the first door and (d) a guide on the motor vehicle body. The guide displaces the articulating door interface between a door sealing position when the first door is closed and a door opening position when the first door is opened. A related method is also provided.
INDEPENDENTLY OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE DOORS WITH AN ARTICULATING DOOR INTERFACE
A door system is provided for a motor vehicle. That door system includes (a) a first independently operable first, door, (b) an independently operable second door, (c) an articulating door interface carried on the first door and (d) a guide on the motor vehicle body. The guide displaces the articulating door interface between a door sealing position when the first door is closed and a door opening position when the first door is opened. A related method is also provided.
Weather strip and coupling structure of the same
A coupling part of a weather strip is fixed between a first anchoring part and a second anchoring part on an outer peripheral part of a sash of a door. A hollow seal member and an outer lip are integrally formed with the coupling part and make elastic contact with a second surface and a first surface of a door opening edge of a body panel, respectively, when the door is in the closed position. The weather strip is fixed to the sash only by fixing the coupling part. A pillar part couples the coupling part with the hollow seal member. A body seal lip is provided on the hollow seal member and makes elastic contact with the door opening edge when the door is in the closed position.
Weather strip and coupling structure of the same
A coupling part of a weather strip is fixed between a first anchoring part and a second anchoring part on an outer peripheral part of a sash of a door. A hollow seal member and an outer lip are integrally formed with the coupling part and make elastic contact with a second surface and a first surface of a door opening edge of a body panel, respectively, when the door is in the closed position. The weather strip is fixed to the sash only by fixing the coupling part. A pillar part couples the coupling part with the hollow seal member. A body seal lip is provided on the hollow seal member and makes elastic contact with the door opening edge when the door is in the closed position.
VEHICLE DOOR LINING ASSEMBLY, AND METHODS OF USE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Some embodiments are directed to a door lining assembly for use with a vehicle having a vehicle interior, a vehicle door, and weather-stripping configured to facilitate sealing of the door in a closed position. The door lining assembly can include a front portion connected to a lower section of the vehicle door. The front portion can include a flange that is connected to the weather-stripping. The door lining assembly can also include an elongated transition portion that extends in a vehicle longitudinal direction and is attached to the front portion and the lower section of the vehicle door. The transition portion can be structured to have a gradually varying depth in a lateral direction of the vehicle, such that one end of the transition portion that is connected to the front portion extends further into the vehicle interior than the opposite longitudinal end.
