Stabilizer wheel assembly and methods of use
Included is a stabilizer wheel assembly that may assist in stabilizing a medical device during a medical procedure. A medical device may comprise a body; and a plurality of stabilizer wheel assemblies coupled to the body, wherein the stabilizer wheel assemblies each comprise a motor assembly and a stabilization leg, wherein the motor assembly is configured to drive the stabilization leg onto a contact surface to stabilize the body.
MOBILE ROBOT DRIVE SYSTEM
A mobile robot can include a chassis and support wheels configured to support the chassis on a ground surface. The mobile robot can have a drive assembly that includes a drive wheel mounted to a control arm for moving the mobile robot. The control arm can pivot about a pivot axis. The pivot axis can be rearward of the axis of rotation of the drive wheel. The pivot axis can be lower than the axis of rotation of the drive wheel. The pivot axis can be lower than the axis of rotation for one or more of the support wheels. A biasing member can bias the control arm downward. Braking using the drive wheel can increase the force of the drive wheel against the ground. Accelerating using the drive wheel can decrease the force of the drive wheel against the ground.
Vehicle drive apparatus
A vehicle drive apparatus including a case member having a bottom wall portion and a side wall portion to form a reservoir space of oil which includes a first reservoir space radially inward of a shaft support member, a second reservoir space between the shaft support member and a ring gear, and a third reservoir space radially outward of the ring gear, a first passage provided in the shaft support member to communicate the first reservoir space and the second reservoir space, a second passage provided in the ring gear to communicate the second reservoir space and the third reservoir space, and an oil passage forming part configured to form an oil passage to communicate with the first reservoir space at a first end of the oil passage and communicate with an oil pump at a second end of the oil passage.
Universal wheel
The universal wheel includes a base member, a vertical axle, a lift member, and a wheel member. The lift member adjusts the universal wheel's height. A first driving element, a second driving element, and an engaging element are configured on the base member and the wheel member. The first driving element for turning the base member laterally within 360 degrees. The second driving element is for rolling the wheel member around its lateral axle. The engaging element couples or decouples an external shaft with the lateral axle of the wheel member. As such, through the first and second driving elements, and the engaging element, the universal wheel can control a height from the ground and can be rolled forward, laterally, obliquely, turned 360 degrees when standing in place, or in a combination of these operations.
DRIVE MODULE
This invention relates to a drive module. The drive module includes a base and a steering assembly rotatably mounted to the base. The steering assembly is selectively rotatable about a predetermined steering axis and carries a drive train. The drive train is configured to provide a multi-stage drive reduction of the drive train and the drive train is adapted to support a wheel such that a centre of a contact patch of the wheel is laterally offset from the steering axis.
MOVABLE RIG AND STEERING SYSTEM
A drill rig with a steering system may include a substructure having a wheelhouse, a drill floor arranged atop the substructure, a mast extending upwardly and above the drill floor, and a steering system arranged within the wheelhouse. The steering system may include a wheel assembly comprising an electric motor configured for driving rotational motion of a wheel, a deployment device configuring for deploying the wheel assembly to carry the drill rig, and a steering mechanism configured for selective engagement with the wheel assembly and rotating the wheel assembly.
NON-SCRUBBING VERTICAL DRIVE UNIT FOR A TRACKLESS OR FREE ROAMING VEHICLE WITH ZERO TURN RADIUS
A driven wheel assembly to provide a zero turn radius without wheel scrubbing. The assembly includes a vertical axis motor driving a vertical drive shaft to drive first and second spaced-apart wheels that are oriented horizontally or perpendicular to the vertical drive shaft for lateral motion of the vehicle. This is combined with an off-axis vertical motor and gear, which rotates or steers, the driven wheel assembly. Instead of a right angle gear drive as found in a conventional drive unit, the driven wheel assembly employs a center differential coupled to the output end of the vertical drive shaft and a hub of each of the first and second wheels and that is positioned in the space between the two wheels. The center differential drives the first and second wheels, and each of the first and second wheels can turn at a different rotational velocity or even in opposite directions.
VEHICLE DRIVE APPARATUS
A vehicle drive apparatus including an electric motor including a rotor rotating about an axial line extending in a vertical direction and a stator disposed around the rotor, a shaft disposed rotatably about the axial line inside the rotor and extended along the axial line, a torque transmission mechanism configured to transmit a torque of the electric motor to the shaft, a case including a side wall and a bottom wall and configured to surround the stator, and a bearing attached to the bottom wall to support a bottom portion of the rotor rotatably about the axial line while bearing a weight of the rotor.
Wheel drive module of modular construction
A wheel drive module comprises wheel (R), speed modulation gearbox (G), first electric motor (M1), and second electric motor (M2). First and second electric motors (M1, M2) jointly drive wheel (R) about wheel axis (A) by the speed modulation gearbox (G) and steer said wheel about steering axis (L). Wheel drive module comprises first motor electronics (10) for controlling first electric motor (M1) and second motor electronics (20) for controlling second electric motor (M2) and central electronics (30) connected to first and second motor electronics (10, 20), allowing a signal transfer. Wheel drive module comprises control logic for controlling first and second electric motors (M1, M2), which logic is provided by first and second motor electronics (10, 20), central electronics (30), application electronics (40) connected to the central electronics (30), allowing a signal transfer, or jointly by the central electronics (30) and the first and second motor electronics (10, 20).
