Fueling device
A fueling device mounted on a vehicle, includes: a flow path forming member forming a flow path extending from a fueling port to a fuel tank of the vehicle; and a stay joined to a vehicle body, wherein the stay supports an outer end portion of the flow path forming member.
FUEL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A fuel system for a vehicle includes a fuel tank configured to provide fuel to an engine of the vehicle, a shutoff valve configured to selectively restrict a flow of the fuel along a flow path between the fuel tank and the engine, a temperature sensor configured to monitor a temperature of at least one of the engine of the vehicle or a temperature associated with a body area of the vehicle and provide a temperature signal, and a controller coupled to the temperature sensor and the shutoff valve. The controller is configured to control the shutoff valve to restrict the flow of the fuel in response to the temperature signal indicating a temperature in excess of a temperature threshold.
Hydrogen storage system and flow rate adjusting valve used for same
A hydrogen storage system includes: a first hydrogen tank provided in a fuel cell electric vehicle; a second hydrogen tank provided in the fuel cell electric vehicle and configured to store hydrogen independently of the first hydrogen tank; a manifold provided in the fuel cell electric vehicle and connected to the first hydrogen tank and the second hydrogen tank; a hydrogen supply line configured to connect the manifold and a fuel cell stack provided in the fuel cell electric vehicle; and a flow rate adjusting valve configured to adjust a flow rate of the hydrogen to be supplied to the manifold from at least one of the first hydrogen tank or the second hydrogen tank in accordance with a difference in pressure between the first hydrogen tank and the second hydrogen tank, so as to minimize a difference in pressure between the hydrogen tanks to improve safety and reliability.
Natural gas storage and delivery system for a refrigerated cargo vehicle
A fuel storage and delivery system for a refrigerated cargo vehicle. The system includes a first fuel tank for storing natural gas and a second fuel tank for storing natural gas, at least the first fuel tank is for storing the natural gas as liquefied natural gas (LNG); a vehicle fuel supply line fluidly connected to the first fuel tank for supplying fuel from the first fuel tank to a vehicle engine; and a refrigeration unit fuel supply line fluidly connected to the second fuel tank for supplying fuel from the second fuel tank to a transport refrigeration unit engine.
Systems for a deflector wedge
Methods and systems are provided for a deflector. In one example, a system includes a first engine bay component comprising a deflector with a deflection surface shaped to engage a second engine bay component to rotate the first engine bay component and mitigate contact between the first engine bay component and a third engine bay component.
FUEL LINE SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM
A second layer of physical protection against failure for a fuel line of a vehicle for use with high pressure and cryogenic fuels increases safety. The primary fuel line can be assembled from one or more components. The secondary protection is a single outer sleeve that includes a selectively permeable or impermeable membrane and may be reinforced. The sleeve and enclosed volume can also be used to protect against oxygen liquification in cryogenic applications. A means to detect failure of the primary fuel line and optional means to vent leaking fuel depend on the application. Clamp designs may be used to mount and clamp such assemblies in a vehicle structure.
FUEL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a prime mover and a fuel system. The fuel system includes a tank, a regulator, a first shutoff valve, and a second shutoff valve. The tank is configured to provide a supply flow of fuel. The regulator is controllable to provide a regulated flow of fuel to the prime mover by modulating the supply flow of fuel. The first shutoff valve is positioned to facilitate selectively disengaging the prime mover from the fuel system. The second shutoff valve is positioned to facilitate selectively blocking the supply flow of fuel provided by the tank.
WORKING MACHINE
The present invention relates to a working machine having an engine room and a housing, wherein the housing at least partially surrounds or can surround the engine room, wherein a venting space, in which a line mouth of a line ends, is arranged on the housing, wherein the venting space is delimited from the engine room, preferably delimited in a gas-tight manner, and wherein the venting space is formed by a partial region of the housing and a bottom piece arranged in the engine room.
INTEGRATED FILL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An integrated fill system is provided for a vehicle. The integrated fill system can include a container configured to house a compressed gas having a first end and a second end. A first neck mount is configured to receive the first end of the container and configured to restrict movement, and a second neck mount is configured to receive the second end of the container and configured to enable movement. A housing is configured to encase the container and the first and second neck mounts. A fill line has a first end coupled to the first end of the container, and a draw line has a first end coupled to the second end of the container. A filter is arranged proximate to the fill line to prevent contaminants from entering the container.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a vehicle interior, a front room provided in front of the vehicle interior with a dashboard interposed therebetween, a first protection target that is disposed along the dashboard and extends in an upper-lower direction, and a first protector that has a concave sectional shape and covers the first protection target toward the dashboard. The first protection target includes a curved portion curved along a curvature of the dashboard, and the first protector includes a bent portion that covers the curved portion, an upper extension portion that extends upward from the bent portion, and a lower extension portion that extends downward from the bent portion. The upper extension portion includes a first fixing portion that has a bolt insertion hole and is fixed to the dashboard, and the lower extension portion includes a second fixing portion that has a slit opened downward and is fixed to the dashboard.
