MOTOR CYCLE WITH PIVOTABLE FUEL TANK
A motor cycle includes an internal combustion engine, a frame, a fuel tank for carrying a fuel to be consumed by the internal combustion engine, and a container connected to the internal combustion engine and the fuel tank. The container is adapted to store fuel evaporating from the fuel tank, and the container in a position of use is at least partially covered by the fuel tank. The fuel tank is supported pivotably relative to the frame between a maintenance position and the position of use.
INTEGRATED FILL SYSTEM AND METHOD
An integrated fill system is provided for a vehicle. The integrated fill system can include a receptacle, a cap that mates with the receptacle, and a fill line that is in fluid communication between the receptacle and a container. The integrated fill system can further include a valve between an opening on an end of the container and an end of the fill line to allow one-way fluid communication for entry of compressed material into the container. The integrated fill system can further include a draw line on an opposite end of the container to maintain separate lines for filling and drawing compressed material into/from the container.
FUELING DEVICE
A fueling device mounted on a vehicle, includes: a flow path forming member forming a flow path extending from a fueling port to a fuel tank of the vehicle; and a stay joined to a vehicle body, wherein the stay supports an outer end portion of the flow path forming member.
Refuse vehicle having tailgate-mounted CNG tanks
A refuse vehicle includes a chassis having an engine, a body assembly, a tailgate pivotally attached to the body assembly, a CNG fuel system having a CNG fuel tank coupled to the tailgate and moveable therewith, the engine configured to be powered by the CNG fuel system, at least one of a non-structural conduit, a non-structural raceway, and a non-structural channel configured to contain at least one of wiring and a hydraulic line, and an impact mitigation system. The impact mitigation system is a passive system configured to direct impact loads around the CNG fuel tank. The impact mitigation system provides a protected region within which the CNG fuel tank is disposed.
Pipe attaching structure of fuel tank
In a pipe attaching structure of a fuel tank, a pipe attachment section and the fuel tank are molded simultaneously, and the pipe attachment section can be securely molded. In the pipe attaching structure of the fuel tank, which is provided with a pipe attachment section adapted to attach pipes to an exterior wall of the fuel tank, the fuel tank has the pipe attachment section elongating from the exterior wall of the fuel tank outwardly of the fuel tank so as to be integral therewith. The pipe attachment section has an attaching exterior wall composed of the same material with that of the exterior wall of the fuel tank so as to elongate into a cylindrical configuration and continue integrally with the exterior wall of the fuel tank outwardly thereof, and an attaching interior wall formed inside the attaching exterior wall so as to continue from a tip end of the attaching exterior wall and bend like a hairpin, and the attaching exterior wall and the attaching interior wall are brought into contact with each other.
FUEL SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an engine, a tank configured to provide a supply flow of natural gas, a valve controllable to provide a regulated flow of natural gas to the engine by modulating the supply flow of natural gas, a first conduit extending between the tank and the valve such that the supply flow of natural gas is received by the valve from the tank, and a second conduit extending between the valve and the engine such that the regulated flow of natural gas is provided from the valve to the engine. The regulated flow of natural gas is not diverted from the second conduit at any point along a length of the second conduit.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a vehicle interior, a front room provided in front of the vehicle interior with a dashboard interposed therebetween, a first protection target that is disposed along the dashboard and extends in an upper-lower direction, and a first protector that has a concave sectional shape and covers the first protection target toward the dashboard. The first protection target includes a curved portion curved along a curvature of the dashboard, and the first protector includes a bent portion that covers the curved portion, an upper extension portion that extends upward from the bent portion, and a lower extension portion that extends downward from the bent portion. The upper extension portion includes a first fixing portion that has a bolt insertion hole and is fixed to the dashboard, and the lower extension portion includes a second fixing portion that has a slit opened downward and is fixed to the dashboard.
GAS TANK ARRANGEMENT
A gas tank arrangement for an internal combustion engine, the gas tank arrangement comprising a gas tank for containing a combustible gas, a first fuel pump arranged downstream the gas tank and arranged to increase the pressure level of the combustible gas to a first pressure level, wherein the gas tank arrangement further comprises a second fuel pump arranged downstream the first fuel pump and arranged to increase the pressure level of the combustible gas to a second pressure level, wherein the second pressure level is higher than the first pressure level.
Motorcycle having an internal combustion engine and a container for receiving fuel vapor from the fuel tank
A motorcycle having a combustion engine and a throttle valve device, a fuel tank, and a canister for receiving fuel vapor from the fuel tank. There is disclosed an apparatus and system for use on such a motorcycle, the apparatus and system having a conduit arrangement for passing fuel vapor from the fuel tank to the canister, and from the canister to the throttle valve device, and featuring a motorcycle frame with at least one frame tube. The frame tube has an inner recess, and at least a portion of the canister is arranged in the inner recess of the frame tube.
SYSTEMS FOR A DEFLECTOR WEDGE
Methods and systems are provided for a deflector. In one example, a system includes a first engine bay component comprising a deflector with a deflection surface shaped to engage a second engine bay component to rotate the first engine bay component and mitigate contact between the first engine bay component and a third engine bay component.
