SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR MODULAR VEHICLE ENERGY REPLENISHMENT
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for automatically refueling a vehicle using fuel storage modules. The vehicle can comprise a vehicle-side fuel module storage that is coupled with a fuel manifold to provide fuel to the vehicle. A remote fuel storage can be located proximate the target operation for the vehicle. When a fuel loading event is identified, such as low fuel, the vehicle can transit to the remote fuel module storage. Once appropriately aligned, actuators can be used to automatically exchange fuel modules between the vehicle-side fuel module storage and the remote fuel module storage.
Fuel tank with internal bladder and method
A fuel tank for a generator or the like, wherein the fuel tank includes a rigid outer fuel tank structure and an inner bladder. The outer fuel tank structure includes a longitudinal channel for receiving the inner bladder. End caps are disposed on either end of the outer fuel tank structure, so that the internal bladder may be pulled therein with cables or the like. When the internal bladder needs to be replaced due to damage or corrosion, the end caps are removed and cables may be attached to one end of the damaged internal bladder for pulling it from the outer fuel tank structure. Additionally, a replacement bladder may be attached via cables to the other end of the damaged bladder, so that the replacement bladder is pulled into one end of the outer fuel tank structure while the damaged bladder is being pulled out the other end thereof.
Apparatus and method for a portable fuel supply for a vehicle
An improved apparatus and method provide a portable fuel supply for a vehicle. The apparatus comprises a vessel that is a source of fuel and a conduit that is operatively connected with the vessel at one end. There is also a coupling pin arrangement connected with the vessel. The coupling pin arrangement comprises a coupling pin and is mutually engageable with a fifth wheel coupling device. An end opposite the one end of the conduit operatively connects with a fuel system of the vehicle such that the vessel is in fluid communication with the fuel system and the vehicle operates with the fuel from the vessel.

Fuel tank
A fuel tank comprises a circular column-shaped fuel tank body, a handle, and a first connector. The circular column-shaped fuel tank body is provided so as to be detachably attachable to a fuel-powered device. The handle is formed on one end side in a length direction of the fuel tank body. The first connector is formed on another end side in the length direction of the fuel tank body and configured such that, by installing the fuel tank body to the fuel-powered device, the first connector is connected to a second connector provided at the fuel-powered device so as to enable fuel to be supplied to the fuel-powered device.
Work machine
A work machine, more particularly a wheeled loader, having a cab for the operator of the work machine, wherein the work machine has a drive which can be operated with hydrogen and that one or more tanks for receiving hydrogen are provided, wherein components for receiving the tanks are provided, wherein the tank or tanks are arranged below the cab and, when the work machine is viewed from above, next to the cab of the work machine, wherein the components for receiving the tanks do not have a direct mechanical connection to the cab, and that an armor is provided which partially or completely surrounds the tank.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAXIMIZING ENERGY STORAGE ON A VEHICLE WITH INFRASTRUCTURE LIMITATIONS
A vehicle includes a battery, one or more fuel tanks, and a controller. The controller performs operations including: receiving data indicative of a location of a refueling station relative to a current location of the vehicle; receiving data indicative of a state of charge of the battery; receiving data indicative of a fuel level of each fuel tank; determining an amount of energy to arrive at the refueling station from the current location; based on the location of the refueling station, the state of charge of the battery, the fuel level of at least one of the one or more fuel tanks, and the determined amount of energy, selecting at least one fuel tank to refill; and preconditioning the selected at least one fuel tank by converting fuel from the selected at least one fuel tank from a first form of energy to a second form of energy.
