20230038898 · 2023-02-09 ·

A tractor including: a traveling body having an engine; a post-processing device configured to purify exhaust gas of the engine; and a reductant tank configured to store a reductant to be supplied to the post-processing device. A pair of left and right fuel tanks are arranged respectively on left and right sides of a longitudinally midway portion of the traveling body. A tank-accommodation recess for accommodating a reductant tank is formed at a lower-front portion of one of the left and right fuel tanks. While the reductant tank is accommodated in the tank-accommodation recess, an upper front portion of the fuel tank and the reductant tank are aligned up and down.

Multiple fuel tank purge system and method
11572843 · 2023-02-07 ·

A multiple fuel tank purge system and method includes providing a pair of fuel tanks, including a main fuel tank for containing impure fuel and a separate, auxiliary fuel tank that contains commercial canned fuel. The engine runs on the impure fuel from the main fuel tank while the engine is in normal use, and then employs a shutdown cycle that switches to the commercial canned fuel from the auxiliary fuel tank for some pre-set time period. This arrangement allows the engine to be purged of the impure fuel (by burning the impure fuel during the shutdown cycle) and replaced by the commercial pre-mixed fuel before the engine is finally shut down. The system may further include a novel fuel cap with a fuel line, a tank within a tank fuel container, and/or an electronically actuated shutdown cycle mechanism.

A high-pressure vessel mounting structure includes: a plurality of high-pressure vessels arranged on the upper surface of a bottom wall in a front-rear direction of a vehicle body with a vehicle width direction as an axial direction; a plurality of load transmission members each provided between the high-pressure vessels on the bottom wall and extending along the axial direction; a connection member that connects one axial end of each of the high-pressure vessels; and a support member that supports the other axial end of each of the high-pressure vessels, and the support member can move relatively inward in the vehicle width direction with respect to the high-pressure vessel when a load is input from outside in the vehicle width direction.

REAR STRUCTURE FOR A VEHICLE

A rear structure of a vehicle includes: a rear floor, and a pair of diagonal members coupled to a bottom surface of the rear floor, extending obliquely from both sides of the rear floor to a rear side of the rear floor, and symmetrical with respect to a longitudinal centerline of the rear floor. The rear structure further includes a pair of side extensions coupled to the bottom surface of the rear floor at the both sides of the rear floor, respectively, and extending in a longitudinal direction of the rear floor. The rear structure includes a cross member disposed between the pair of side extensions at a rear bottom surface of the rear floor, and the cross member has both ends each spaced apart from a corresponding side extension.
