TACTILE AND AUDITORY SENSE PRESENTATION DEVICE
A tactile and auditory sense presentation device includes an actuator configured to impart vibration to an operating surface on which an operation is performed, a sound output unit configured to output a sound, and a controller that is configured to present a cross-modal feedback by controlling the actuator such that the actuator applies the vibration to the operating surface as well as controlling the sound output unit such that the sound output unit outputs the sound at a timing of when the vibration is presented.
INTERFACE APPARATUS AND METHOD
Embodiments of the present invention provide a human-machine interface (HMI) for a vehicle, comprising an output means (40, 50) for outputting information, passenger monitoring means (20) for determining a status of at least one passenger within the vehicle and to outputting a passenger status signal indicative thereof, control means (10) for determining an operating state of one or more systems of the vehicle, wherein the control means (10) is arranged to receive the passenger status signal, and wherein the control means (10) is arranged to compose an output from the output means (40, 50) in dependence on the operating state of the one or more systems and the passenger status signal.
Fake engine sound control device and fake engine sound control method
A fake engine sound control device includes an environment information acquisition unit, a vehicle speed acquisition unit, an engine speed acquisition unit, a fake engine sound generator, and a fake engine sound controller. The environment information acquisition unit acquires environment information. The vehicle speed acquisition unit acquires vehicle speed information. The engine speed acquisition unit acquires rotation speed information. The fake engine sound generator generates a fake engine sound. The fake engine sound controller determines, based on the environment information and the vehicle speed information, whether leading to a target vehicle speed is required, the target vehicle speed being different from the vehicle speed indicated by the vehicle speed information, and controls, when leading to the target vehicle speed is required, the fake engine sound generator based on the target vehicle speed and the rotation speed information.
DISPLAY AND OPERATING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE COMPONENT
The invention relates to a display and operating device (10) for at least one vehicle component, in particular a radio, a CD and/or DVD player or similar audio and/or video player, a navigation device, an infotainment device, a heating, ventilating or aid condition control unit, or a human-machine interface, which is provided with a mechanical control element (18) for setting an operational parameter of at least one first vehicle component and a touch screen (12) for outputting information, and control keys (14) and/or other operational parameters for the first vehicle component and/or at least one second vehicle component. The touch screen (12) comprises a recess (16) and the mechanical operating element (18) is arranged in the recess (16) of the touch screen (12).
COORDINATING DELIVERY OF NOTIFICATIONS TO THE DRIVER OF A VEHICLE TO REDUCE DISTRACTIONS
A notification control system (NCS) is configured to coordinate the delivery of notifications issued from a set of devices to the driver of a vehicle. The NCS registers all interactive devices residing in a vehicle and causes those devices to conform to specific directives generated by the NCS. The NCS analyzes and predicts the cognitive and emotional load on the driver and also estimates the cognitive and emotional impact on the driver potentially caused by any incoming notifications. The NCS then coordinates the delivery of notifications to the driver in a manner that avoids overwhelming the cognitive and/or emotional capacity of the driver. Accordingly, the NCS may avoid situations where device notifications cause the driver to unsafely divert attention away from driving.
DEVICE INTERCONNECTION METHODS AND SYSTEM, VEHICULAR DEVICE, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A device interconnection method includes: in response to an operation of starting up a screen mirroring application program, starting up the screen mirroring application program, where the screen mirroring application program includes a screen mirroring identifier used in this screen mirroring; generating an audio file carrying the screen mirroring identifier; and playing the audio file at least once to generate an acoustic wave signal, such that a screen mirroring application program in a terminal device collects the acoustic wave signal, and establishes a screen mirroring link with the vehicular device based on the screen mirroring identifier in the acoustic wave signal.
Apparatus for controlling display of vehicle and method thereof
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for controlling a multi-image display provided in a vehicle, and a method thereof. According to the present disclosure, a multi-image display device may simultaneously output two or more images separated depending on an output angle or an optical frequency, and a first reflection member provided in an indoor ceiling of the vehicle may reflect one image among the two or more images output from the multi-image display device.
Vehicle and control method thereof
A vehicle includes a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) antenna, a broadcast receiving antenna, a speaker, and an Audio/Video/Navigation (AVN) device electrically connected to the GNSS antenna, the broadcast receiving antenna, and the speaker, and the AVN device is configured to obtain a broadcast signal from the broadcast receiving antenna, receive a GNSS signal from the GNSS antenna, demodulate the broadcast signal into an acoustic signal, and remove a noise mixed in the acoustic signal based on an intensity of the GNSS signal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING WELL DISTINGUISHABLE WARNING LEVELS FOR OBSTACLES IN DIFFERENT VISIBILITY AREAS IN THE VICINITY OF A VEHICLE
A driver assistance system for a vehicle and a method are provided, being adapted to provide alerts to a driver in certain situations, e.g. if a foreign object is invisible for the driver or if there is an increased danger for a collision. The alert level is adapted to depend on the position and/or the direction of movement of the at least one foreign object and/or the direction of movement of the vehicle, which are measured by at least one sensor.
Display systems and methods for a recreational vehicle
The present application discloses systems and methods to present information to recreational vehicle riders and to provide customizable visual information to recreational vehicle riders. The present application further discloses systems and methods to connect and transmit audio information between a driver portable communication device and a driver audio interface device through the recreational vehicle and audio information between a passenger portable communication device and a passenger audio interface device.
