Content display device for road vehicle and relative road vehicle
A content display device for a road vehicle; the content display device comprising a support element configured to be mounted centrally at a dashboard of the road vehicle; at least one screen, mechanically connected to the support element and configured to be visible to a passenger and/or a driver while driving; a movement system hinged to the support element and hingeble to the dashboard for alternately rotating the screen towards the driver and/or towards the passenger.
Display device, vehicle, and method for controlling vehicle
A display device includes a beam generator and a holographic optical waveguide. The beam generator includes a display and is configured to generate beams having image information displayed on the display. The holographic optical waveguide is configured to display an image of a second size at a position at a first distance behind the display device based on the beams having the image information, the second size is a multiple of the first size of the display, and the multiple is greater than 1.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A display apparatus includes a plurality of sub-pixels arranged in rows and columns, and a plurality of light-blocking lines arranged in a first direction on one side of sub-pixels arranged in each odd column, and extending along a second direction intersecting the first direction in a plan view, wherein the sub-pixels arranged in the odd column include a plurality of unit pixels each including a first sub-pixel of a first color, a second sub-pixel of a second color, and a third sub-pixel of a third color, and in a cross-sectional view intersecting the second direction, the light-blocking lines corresponding to one of the unit pixels have a same thickness.
PHYSICAL STATE SHARABLE SEAT
In a physical state sharable seat, a sensor is configured to acquire a measurement value specific to a physical state of an occupant seated on the seat body; and a controller connected to the sensor and thereby allowed to acquire the measurement value from the sensor is configured to be capable of communicating with other equipment. The controller includes: an evaluation unit configured to compute an evaluation value on the physical state, based on the measurement value; an evaluation value presentation unit configured to present the evaluation value at a terminal to be used by the occupant; a shared data acquisition unit configured to acquire an other-occupant evaluation value that is an evaluation value on a physical state of another person, acquired either by the evaluation unit or from another physical state sharable seat; and a shared data presentation unit configured to present the other-occupant evaluation value at the terminal.
VEHICLE SENSING AND CONTROL SYSTEMS
Vehicle sensing and control systems are provided. The vehicle sensing and control systems may use various sensors to capture sensor data from and interior of the vehicle and/or the exterior of the vehicle. The sensor data from the interior of the vehicle may be used to detect interactions by the user. The sensor data from the exterior of the vehicle may be used to detect items of interest for the occupants of the vehicle based further on the sensor data from the interior of the vehicle.
Enabling vehicle display interaction and personalization
A system for enabling vehicle display and interaction includes a vehicle display server in communication with a plurality of sensors and adapted to track head and eye position and movement of users within the vehicle, detect locations of users within the vehicle and when users change seating positions, detect when a user enters and exits the vehicle, detect and interpret facial and gesture inputs from users, capture images of users, and receive audio inputs from users within the vehicle, haptic feedback devices adapted to provide haptic feedback to users, and a user display system for viewing and interaction by users, the vehicle display server adapted to identify an identity of a user seated within the vehicle, select user specific content to be displayed for the user on the user display system, and automatically display the user specific content on the user display system for viewing by the user.
HOST, USER IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, AND USER IDENTIFICATION METHOD
A host, a user identification system, and a user identification method are described herein. The host includes a storage circuit and a processor. The storage circuit is configured to store a program code. The processor is coupled to the storage circuit and configured to access the program code. The processor is configured to receive a touch signal from a touch screen. The processor is configured to determine an identification result indicating that whether the touch signal comprises a user identification signal or not. The processor is configured to determine a current operator of the touch screen based on the identification result. The processor is configured to perform an operation on the touch screen based on the current operator.
Dual-viewing mode motor vehicle display system
Disclosure relates to a dual-viewing mode motor vehicle display system. The display system may comprise at least one displaying portion operable to display contents and a processor having a memory. The processor may have a set of instructions stored thereon, retrievable from the memory. The at least one displaying portion may further comprise at least one illumination unit. The at least one illumination unit may comprise a plurality of micro fin structures. The plurality of micro fin structures may be configured to provide a wide viewing mode and a narrow viewing mode. The processor may be operable to kinematically change a position of the at least one displaying portion about a rotation axis. In response to the kinematically changed position, the at least one displaying portion may switch between a public mode position to display public mode contents and a private mode position to display private mode contents.
System for controlling vehicle display based on occupant's gaze
A system for controlling a vehicle display based on an occupant's gaze includes: a first occupant gaze recognition unit to recognize a gaze of a first occupant in a vehicle; a second occupant gaze recognition unit to recognize a gaze of a second occupant in the vehicle; an interest information display area crossover confirmation and priority determination unit to determine interest information from the gaze of the first occupant and the gaze of the second occupant, to confirm whether areas for displaying interest information on a windshield are mutually crossover with each other, and to determine a priority for display; and a display control unit to control a display in accordance with the priority for display.
Recommended vehicle-related functionality
An example operation includes one or more of analyzing data related to content being delivered to occupant devices in a vehicle; and notifying the devices of additional functionality related to the vehicle based on the analyzing.
