Radar for vehicle and vehicle provided therewith
A radar for a vehicle includes: an antenna including a nonlinear patch array; a transmitter to externally transmit a transmission signal through the antenna; a receiver to signal-process a reception signal received from the antenna; and a processor to control to operate a portion of the nonlinear patch array and control to change at least one of a direction, an angle, or an intensity of a beam pattern output from the antenna based on image related information from a camera during vehicle driving, wherein when the vehicle enters a curved road, the processor detects lane region based on an image from the camera, calculates curvature information of the curved road using a pixel value of the lane region, and controls to change a direction of a beam pattern output from the antenna based on the curvature information. The radar beam pattern is configured to vary based on the camera image.
Vehicle driver nudge system
A driver nudge system is operated within a vehicle to indicate a warning to a driver of the vehicle. The system includes a steering wheel, a vehicle sensor monitoring an operating environment of the vehicle, and an electric motor connected to the steering wheel configured to nudge the steering wheel in an opposite direction to a threat diagnosed according to data from the vehicle sensor.
Sound output and text display device for a vehicle
A sound output and text display device for a vehicle, including: an output unit that, in a case in which sound to be output inside the vehicle has been decided, outputs the sound inside the vehicle; and a display unit that displays text corresponding to the sound on a windshield in accordance with a state of use of the vehicle.
Display device
A display device includes a display unit for displaying a moving body speed being a speed of a moving body, a first speed that is arbitrarily settable by a driver, and a second speed that is not arbitrarily settable by the driver. The display unit includes a display having a drawing function, and a frame member disposed to overlap the display. The display includes a display area spanning an inner side and an outer side of the frame member. The display displays the moving body speed and the first speed on the inner side of the frame member, and displays the second speed on the outer side of the frame member.
Image analysis technologies for assessing safety of vehicle operation
Systems and methods for using image analysis techniques to assess unsafe driving conditions by a vehicle operator are discloses. According to aspects, a computing device may access and analyze image data depicting the vehicle operator. In analyzing the image, the computing device may measure certain visible metrics as depicted in the image data and compare the metrics to corresponding threshold values, and may accordingly determine whether the vehicle operator is exhibiting an unsafe driving condition. The computing device may generate and present alerts that indicate any determined unsafe driving condition.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEMONSTRATING FUNCTION OF VEHICLE-MOUNTED HEADS UP DISPLAY, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Method and system for demonstrating a function of a vehicle-mounted heads up display are disclosed. The method includes setting a projection region for displaying a first image, obtaining relative position and relative size relationships between the projection region and the virtual display region, projecting the first image in the projection region, capturing a second image of the first image, generating a virtual recognition region in the second image, determining whether an object in the second image is located within the virtual recognition region, and determining, in a case that the object is located within the virtual recognition region, a first position of the object within the virtual recognition region, determining, based on the first position, a display position of a virtual marker representative of the object within the virtual display region, and displaying the virtual marker at the display position within the virtual display region.
Vehicle with Display Device
A vehicle (10) for a driver (14) of the vehicle (10) and a display device (16) are provided. The display device (16) includes a projection surface (18) extending in the horizontal and vertical direction and a projector (20) that is configured so as to project a projection (24) onto the projection surface (18). The projection surface (18) is curved in the horizontal direction and surrounds the driver (14) in the horizontal direction by at least one hundred degrees. A method for displaying a projection (24) on a projection surface (18) for a driver (14) of a vehicle (10) is also provided. The method includes: d) determining a viewing direction and/or head orientation (26) of the driver (14) towards the projection surface (18); and f) projecting the projection (24) onto the projection surface (18) in the viewing direction and/or head orientation (26) of the driver (14).
Imaging apparatus and vehicle
Provided is an imaging apparatus (10) including an imaging optical system (20), an image sensor (31), one or more circuit boards including at least one of the image sensor and an electronic component mounted thereon, a housing (11) including an opening that exposes the imaging optical system to a subject and supporting the imaging optical system, the image sensor, and the one or more circuit boards, a signal terminals (41) that transmit an image signal of the subject image captured by the image sensor to an outside of the housing, and a heat transfer unit (44) having heat conductivity connected to the plurality of terminals, the heat transfer unit that transfers heat generated from at least one of the image sensor and the electronic component to the plurality of terminals.
Driver assistance apparatus and vehicle
A driver assistance apparatus includes a camera provided in a vehicle and configured to acquire an image; and a processor configured to process the image. The camera includes an image sensor; and a variable lens that includes a liquid crystal layer and configured to alter light that is introduced into the image sensor based on an arrangement of liquid crystal molecules included in the liquid crystal layer. The arrangement of the liquid crystal molecules in the liquid crystal layer is dependent on an applied voltage.
Projection display device, control method for projection display device, and control program for projection display device
A HUD including a projection display unit, a housing, a cover, a region detection unit, an object removing mechanism and an object removal control unit is provided. The projection display unit spatially modulates light emitted from a light source as image information and projects image light obtained from spatial modulation onto a windshield to display an image. The housing accommodates the projection display unit and has an opening portion through which the image light exits. The cover covers the opening portion. The region detecting unit detects an object adhesion region in which the object is adhered to the cover. The object removing mechanism removes an object adhered to a front surface of the cover by scraping the front surface of the cover. The object removal control unit activates the object removing mechanism when important display content is included in a portion of the image light, the portion being blocked.
