VEHICLE DISPLAY APPARATUS
A backlight is located on an incident side of a liquid crystal cell with a space. A first polarizing plate between the liquid crystal cell and the backlight is spaced from the liquid crystal cell. A second polarizing plate is located on an outgoing side of the liquid crystal cell. A light guiding plate is located between the liquid crystal cell and the first polarizing plate with a space from the liquid crystal cell to transmit a part of light and to guide the light to enter the liquid crystal cell. The display unit and the emitting unit are separately provided. The polarizing axes of the first polarizing plate and the second polarizing plate extend in different directions. When linearly polarized light after passing through the first polarizing plate enters the second polarizing plate, the second polarizing plate shuts off the linearly polarized light.
IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD, MOVABLE OBJECT INCLUDING THE IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM
An image display system includes a display unit displaying an image, a projection unit projecting in a target space a virtual image corresponding to the image with an output light of the display unit, a body unit provided thereto the display unit and the projection unit, and an image producing unit including a first correction unit and a second correction unit. The first correction unit performs a first correction processing of correcting, based on a first orientation signal indicative of a first orientation change of the body unit, a display position of the virtual image in the target space. The second correction unit performs a second correction processing of correcting, based on a second orientation signal indicative of a second orientation change of the body unit which is faster than the first orientation change, the display position of the virtual image in the target space.
CERTIFICATE-BASED PAIRING OF KEY FOB DEVICE AND CONTROL UNIT
An electronic device, in disclosed embodiments, includes an antenna, transceiver circuitry coupled to the antenna, a memory configured to store a first operation key and instructions, and a processor coupled to the transceiver and to the memory. The processor is configured to execute the instructions stored in the memory to cause the electronic device to, in response to receiving a first transmission containing an encrypted version of a second operation key that is encrypted by the first operation key, decrypt the encrypted version of the second operation key using the first operation key to recover the second operation key, store the second operation key in the memory, transmitting, by a transmitter of the electronic device, a second transmission that contains the first operation key and a command.
PROJECTION DEVICE AND VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE
A projection device includes a display that emits a first linearly polarized light that oscillates in a reference oscillation direction, a transparent cover that blocks an opening of a housing, and that reflects the first linearly polarized light that is emitted by the display, and a half-wavelength plate that converts the first linearly polarized light entering from the transparent cover into a second linearly polarized light that oscillates in a direction orthogonal to the reference oscillation direction, and transmits the second linearly polarized light. The transparent cover includes a convex curved surface protruding toward an interior of the housing, and is structured to reflect the first linearly polarized light that is emitted by the display, toward the half-wavelength plate, and to transmit the second linearly polarized light from a reflection mirror toward a combiner.
STEERING MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING A DOUBLE-REFLECTIVE LIGHT GUIDE, STEERING DEVICE, AS WELL AS MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a steering module (8) for a motor vehicle (1), the steering module (8) comprising an optical signaling unit (14), which optically indicates an operating state of the motor vehicle (1), wherein the optical signaling unit (14) comprises at least one light source (15) and a light guide (16), by which the light emitted by the light source (15) with a main radiation direction (20) is capable of being deflected in an exit direction which is different from the main radiation direction (20) and the light exits in this exit direction (19) from an emission surface (18) from the light guide (16), wherein the light guide (16) is shaped in such a way that light rays of the coupled-in light are reflected therein at least twice so that the exit direction (19) is opposite to the main radiation direction (20).
IMAGE PROJECTION DEVICE
An image projection device that can effectively curb an increase in temperature of an image projecting unit due to external light while maintaining quality of a projected image is provided. The image projection device includes an image projecting unit configured to emit projection light including an image, a first freeform curved mirror reflecting the projection light incident from the image projecting unit, an intermediate mirror reflecting the projection light incident from the first freeform curved mirror, and a second freeform curved mirror reflecting the projection light incident from the intermediate mirror and causing the projection light to reach a viewpoint. A component in at least one imaging axis direction of the projection light reflected by the first freeform curved mirror forms an image at an intermediate imaging position before the projection light reaches the second freeform curved mirror, and the intermediate mirror is arranged at the intermediate imaging position.
Display device comprising first and second viewing angle control panels and a polarization axis rotation element between the first viewing angle control panel and a display panel
