Component for vehicle interior
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a light guide to allow light transmission from a light source for a user interface, and a cover to cover the light guide. The user interface may be presented at the cover. The cover may comprise a depression in an inner surface of the cover and the light guide may comprise a projection comprising a light-transmissive resin fit within the depression. The projection may comprise an icon to be presented at the user interface when illuminated, and to be hidden by the cover when not illuminated. The user interface may comprise a light display and an input device connected to a sensor. The icon may comprise an image. The cover thickness may be greater than the projection height. The component may comprise a steering wheel, console, floor console, center console, instrument panel, door panel, dashboard, display, armrest, or cockpit.
BACKLIGHT DEVICE
The present invention provides a backlight device, which comprises a plurality of optical devices and a plurality of backlight plates. The plurality of backlight plates include light sources, respectively, and are disposed at the light inlets of the plurality of optical devices. Then the beams of the light sources can be incident to the plurality of optical devices through the light inlets and reflected to the light outlets of the plurality of optical devices to form a backlight source for a display panel. The plurality of optical devices extend toward the direction opposite to the display panel. By distributing optical paths, the spaces required for the optical paths can be reduced.
SCREEN FOR A FREE AND A RESTRICTED VIEWING MODE
An illuminating apparatus for a screen operable in at least two operating modes, viz B1 for a free viewing mode and B2 for a restricted viewing mode. The illuminating apparatus comprising: a backlight with a planar extension radiating light in a restricted angular range; a plate-shaped light guide that is, in a viewing direction, arranged in front of the backlight and with outcoupling elements one of the large surfaces and/or within its volume. The light guide is transparent to at least 70% of the light emitted by the backlight and light sources are arranged laterally at the edges of the light guide. Various parameters are specified for the number of outcoupling elements per unit area and for their extension, and in operating mode B2, the backlight is switched on and the light sources are switched off. In operating mode B1 at least the light sources are switched on.
VEHICLE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PROVIDED WITH A MONOCHROMATIC DISPLAY
A vehicle instrument cluster including a monochromatic display having a matrix of pixels which can be independently controlled by a control unit to inhibit or to allow the passage of light. The instrument cluster has a back-lighting device that emits at least a monochromatic light beam toward a rear surface of the display and through a filter, which is light-permeable and is provided with a coloured graphic representation whose contours have a resolution higher than the one of the display.
LIGHT-EMITTING DISPLAY SYSTEM AND HEAD-UP DISPLAY
The present invention aims to provide a luminescent display system capable of safely and easily displaying information at a predetermined luminance over a wide area, and a head-up display including the luminescent display system. Provided is a luminescent display system including: a luminescent resin film containing a thermoplastic resin and a luminescent material; and two or more light sources each configured to emit a light beam of excitation wavelength for the luminescent material, the luminescent resin film and two or more light sources being placed such that the light beams emitted from the light sources at least partly overlap on the luminescent resin film.

A display system is a system which can set a first travel mode and a second travel mode. A display system includes: a display displaying an information image indicating vehicle information to be superimposed on a background pattern; and a circuitry controlling a display on the display so that a first background pattern is set as the background pattern when the first travel mode is set and a second background pattern visually recognized to be different from the first background pattern is set as the background pattern when the second travel mode is set.
STEP MOTOR AND VEHICULAR INDICATOR INSTRUMENT
A motor casing accommodates a motor main body. A motor board has a mounting surface, on which the motor main body is mounted, a locking surface on the opposite side of the mounting surface, and a locking hole between the mounting surface and the locking surface. The motor casing has a locking arm and a locking claw. The locking arm is inserted in the locking hole in an elastically deformed state to extend obliquely with respect to the mounting surface and the locking surface. The locking claw has an abutment surface extending obliquely with respect to the mounting surface and the locking surface and locked to the motor board in a state where the abutment surface abuts against the locking corner portion. The locking corner portion is formed by the locking surface and a surface of the locking hole in the motor board.

Display system suitable for vehicle and method for operating same
A display system suitable for a vehicle is provided. The display system suitable for the vehicle includes a center console, a processing device, and a display device. The center console is configured to generate a power sequence according to a customization setting, and the power sequence corresponds to content of a data table. The processing device is configured to receive the power sequence and decodes the power sequence through a lookup table to generate a decoding result. The lookup table includes the content of the data table. The display device is coupled to the processing device and is configured to display a display image according to the decoding result.
Vehicle interior panel with thermal feedback
Vehicle system information is communicated to a vehicle occupant by thermal haptics. A heat transfer device, such as a Peltier device, is used to locally control the temperature of an interaction area along an outer surface of a vehicle interior panel. A temperature differential between the interaction area and an adjacent area indicates the current status and/or the location of a control for the system. Multiple heat transfer devices can be used to provide a temperature gradient along the outer surface of the panel to provide the occupant with a thermally perceptible indicator of an available range of temperatures and/or a temperature setpoint for the vehicle system.
