Capacitive input device
To provide a capacitive input device that enables the user to feel that the input operation has been done. A capacitive input device includes a surface sheet, a soft member, and a sensor sheet configured to detect a change in capacitance. The surface sheet includes an operation area on which a touching operation is to be performed. The soft member is provided between the operation area and the sensor sheet. The sensor sheet includes a sensor electrode located at a position corresponding to the operation area. When the operation area is pressed in a touching operation, the surface sheet and the soft member are displaced toward the sensor sheet and the sensor electrode detects the capacitance.
COMPONENT FOR VEHICLE INTERIOR
A component for a vehicle interior may comprise a light guide to allow light transmission from a light source, and a cover to cover the light guide. The light guide may comprise an icon or indicator and the cover may comprise a depression or indentation in an inner surface of the cover. The icon/indicator of the light guide may comprise a light-transmissive resin material configured to fit within the depression/indentation in the cover. The icon/indicator may be presented when illuminated and hidden by the cover when not illuminated. The cover may comprise a polymer material coupled to the light guide. The cover may present a user interface. A surface of the cover may comprise an information region and/or a decorative region. The component may comprise a steering wheel, console, floor console, center console, instrument panel, door panel, dashboard, display, armrest, or cockpit.
Light control apparatus and method
A light control apparatus includes a diffuser plate, a light source, a light pipe, and a light blocker. The diffuser plate includes at least one opening therein. The diffuser plate includes feature located around the opening in the diffuser plate that exposes a portion of the diffuser plate. A light source positioned proximate a second surface of the diffuser plate is optically coupled to a light pipe positioned around a portion of the opening near the second surface of diffuser plate. A light blocker is positioned near a second portion of the at least one feature. The light blocker is positioned between the light source and the second portion of the feature, the light blocker having an opening therein to allow light to pass from the light source to the diffuser plate proximate the second portion of the feature.
METHOD PROVIDED IN A CAR THAT CAN AUTOMATICALLY TAKE ACTIONS IN THE EVENT OF HEALTH RISK
An embodiment relates to a system, comprising: a sensor; a communication module; and a processor; wherein the processor is configured to detect that a passenger of a vehicle is experiencing a medical emergency; generate of an alert signal on an infotainment system of the vehicle; turn on automatically an emergency indication light; generate of a path from the current location of the vehicle to a target location; maneuver the vehicle along the path to the target location; identify a medical facility based upon a location of the vehicle; contact an emergency service and provide the location of the vehicle and a health condition of the passenger of the vehicle; and transmit a medical record of the passenger of the vehicle to the medical facility. According to an embodiment, the system is configured to be a component of the vehicle.
Display unit for vehicle
A display unit for a vehicle includes an electronic display and a light guide coupled to a portion of the display.
Passenger communication lighting
A passenger communication lighting display on or adjacent a touch bar on a passenger door of a transit vehicle comprises a display that can be controlled to display multiple colors continuous or blinking, and a control means causing the display to be dark when the door is closed, the display to be a first color when the operator has authorized opening, the display to flash a second color when the passenger has requested the door be opened, the display to be blinking the second color when the door is opening, the display to be continuously the second color when the door is resting in the open position, and the display to be blinking a third color while the door is closing.
DASHBOARD DISPLAY AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A dashboard display for a vehicle, and including a light source unit including a plurality of light sources disposed in a matrix form; a display unit configured to display speedometer information using light provided from the light source unit; a needle positioned on the speedometer information and rotatably moving according to a speed of the vehicle; and a processor configured to control the light source unit to emit a predetermined brightness in a region at least partially surrounding the needle, and vary the region at least partially surrounding the needle according to a position of the needle.
VEHICLE CABIN INTERIOR LIGHTING DEVICE
There is provided a vehicle cabin interior lighting device including: a light source that emits light; a polarizing member that converts the emitted light into p-polarized light; and a projection portion that is provided at an upper portion of an instrument panel, and onto which the p-polarized light is projected, and that reflects the projected p-polarized light without changing its polarization characteristics, and that causes the projected p-polarized light to be incident on a front windshield glass at Brewster's angle.
AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE
A vehicle control device incorporating a plurality of vehicle control elements, at least one control apparatus to alter a functionality of the vehicle control elements, each of the vehicle control elements adapted in use to control a valve in a hydraulic line, in which each vehicle control element incorporates a vehicle control display element, the vehicle control display element indicating whether the functionality of the vehicle control element may be altered. This allows a driver when looking at the vehicle control element easily to see from the vehicle control display element whether the functionality of the vehicle control element may be changed.
LIGHT GUIDE STRUCTURE HAVING LIGHT TRAP SECTION
A light guide structure includes a first light guide and a second light guide configured to guide light therein, and a bridge integrally formed with the first light guide and the second light guide. The bridge includes a first end connected to the first light guide, a second end connected to the second light guide, and a light trap section formed between the first end and the second end. The light trap section includes an inwardly V-shaped wall section and a outwardly V-shaped wall section on opposing sides from each other, the inwardly V-shaped wall section configured with a greater V-angle than the outwardly V-shaped wall section.
