Control method, vehicle frame, power driving assembly and vehicle
Provided are a control method, a vehicle frame, a power driving assembly and a vehicle. The vehicle frame is configured to be connected with the power driving assembly, and the vehicle frame is provided with a manipulation assembly and a controller for controlling the power driving assembly. The control method includes that: after the vehicle frame is connected to the power driving assembly and a communication connection is established between the controller and the power driving assembly, the controller detects a manipulation instruction from the manipulation assembly; and in response to detecting the manipulation instruction from the manipulation assembly and determining that the manipulation instruction corresponds to the power driving assembly, the controller generates, according to the manipulation instruction, a control instruction for controlling the power driving assembly, and sends the control instruction to the power driving assembly.
DISMOUNT CONTROLS FOR ONE-WHEELED VEHICLE
A control system for a tiltable vehicle may include a motor controller configured to respond to backward or reverse operation of the vehicle by hindering a responsiveness of the control system (e.g., proportionally) and/or eventually disengaging a drive motor of the vehicle. Accordingly, a user may intuitively and safely dismount the vehicle by selectively commanding reverse operation. In some examples, the backward direction may be user-defined.
Compact auto-balancing transportation device
An auto-balancing transportation device having a compact form. Left and right foot platform sections are coupled for fore-aft tilt angle movement relative to one another. Left and right wheels are provided under the respective foot platforms. With a rider's weight directed primarily downward onto the wheels and not onto the coupling structure, the coupling structure may have sufficient space to house the battery. In addition, more efficient and lighter weight supports and bearing arrangements may be used in the coupling structure. Various embodiments are disclosed.
Self-stabilizing skateboard
A self-propelled, one-wheeled vehicle may include a board having two deck portions each having a concave front footpad configured to receive a foot of a rider, and a wheel assembly disposed between the deck portions. The concave front footpad has a rider detection sensor in the form of a membrane switch conforming to the shape of the footpad (e.g., facilitated by one or more slots formed in the membrane switch). A motor assembly drives the vehicle in response to board orientation and rider detection information. The vehicle may have a secondary battery chargeable via a three-pin charging port including an input pin, a ground pin, and an identification pin configured to receive an expected identification signal from an external charging circuit.
LOW-PROFILE AND HIGH-LOAD BALL-BALANCING ROLLING SYSTEM
This disclosure describes a low-profile, high-load, and hands-free ball-balancing omnidirectional rolling system with multiple human-robot interfaces for modular and adaptive design configurations and input control interfaces. The disclosed platform uses a self-balancing ball-based robot to allow for a safe, compact, high-load, self-balancing and intuitive mobility device for a person with lower-limb disability. Advanced driving assistance such as obstacle avoidance and semi-autonomous navigation between predefined locations is also disclosed.
Mobility device control system
A mobility device that can accommodate speed sensitive steering, adaptive speed control, a wide weight range of users, an abrupt change in weight, traction control, active stabilization that can affect the acceleration range of the mobility device and minimize back falls, and enhanced redundancy that can affect the reliability and safety of the mobility device.
Vehicle electronic stability control system including improved wheel speed detection
A vehicle control system includes a powertrain electronic control unit and an electronic stability control unit that is connected to the powertrain electronic control unit via a vehicle communication bus. The vehicle powertrain includes a wheel, a wheel speed sensor that is configured to detect a speed of the wheel, an electric motor that is configured to drive the wheel, and an electric motor speed sensor that is configured to detect the speed of the electric motor. If the vehicle is not traveling at low speeds (for example, less than 2 kilometers per hour), the electronic stability control unit controls the vehicle based on an output of the wheel speed sensor. However, if the vehicle is traveling at low speeds, the electronic stability control unit controls the vehicle based on an output of the electric motor speed sensor.
LOW GRAVITY ALL-SURFACE VEHICLE AND STABILIZED MOUNT SYSTEM
Vehicles are disclosed that are configured to carry loads in a stabilized manner, such that the load is maintained in a substantially constant position or orientation relative to a predetermined reference point or frame even as the vehicle moves. A stabilization controller in such a vehicle receives information about movement of the vehicle relative to the reference point or plane from one or more sensors on the vehicle, and uses the information to control one or more movable objects by which the load is secured to the vehicle so as to maintain a relatively constant relationship between the load and the reference point or plane.
MODULAR ROBOTIC VEHICLE COMPRISING WHEELED LEG ARRAY
The application discloses a modular robotic vehicle or (MRV) including a chassis and body having any shape and dimension to include an enclosed cab in which passengers are seated therein or a passenger to ride on a seat without an enclosed cab. The vehicle's modular chassis further comprising leg array rotatably connected therein, the leg array including actuators causing flexing and bobbing motion for keeping the MRV stabilized when traversing over various ground surfaces in indoor or outdoor environments. The leg array providing walking and steering capability allowing the MRV to transverse during a navigation mode, the wheel providing differential steering propulsion or braking capability, such that the wheel operates like a foot when powered off during a walking mode and rotates when powered on during a drive mode, the MRV to transport passengers and/or cargo.
