[Solving Means] A seat apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a seat body; a control unit; and a setting means. The seat body includes a leg rest. The control unit includes a controller. The controller determines whether the seat body is in a first state in which the seat body does not face a front seat or a back seat of the seat body or a second state in which the seat body faces one of the front seat and the back seat. The controller enables, where the controller has determined that the seat body is in the first state, a tilt operation command for the leg rest to tilt forward, and invalidates, where the controller has determined that the seat body is in the second state, the tilt operation command. The setting means fixes the determination result by the controller to the first state.
HEADREST ASSEMBLY CONFIGURED TO RESIST VIBRATION
This disclosure generally relates to a headrest assembly, seat, and a method of use. In the disclosure, a head restraint is moveable from an upright position to a folded position by movement of either the push-button or a lever. The disclosed arrangement provides two ways to fold a head restraint, and can further be integrated with another assembly, such as a seat back folding assembly. The disclosed arrangement is further configured to resist vibration, leading to a tighter, more stable design, which provides increased customer satisfaction.

Specific examples of pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements are disclosed, as well as the ability to customize the arrangement. Additionally, exemplary methods are disclosed that illustrate transitions between a variety of the pre-set or pre-programmed arrangements.
Autonomous vehicle having a configurable passenger seat
An autonomous vehicle is provided. The autonomous vehicle includes a vehicle control device positioned proximate a forward end of the autonomous vehicle. The autonomous vehicle further includes a passenger seat. The passenger seat defines a seating orientation and is configurable in at least a first position and a second position. When the passenger seat is in the first position, the seating orientation is directed towards the rear end of the autonomous vehicle. In addition, the vehicle control device is substantially obscured from access from a passenger compartment of the autonomous vehicle. When the passenger seat is in the second position, the seating orientation is directed towards the forward end of the autonomous vehicle. In addition, the vehicle control device is accessible from the passenger compartment of the autonomous vehicle.

A display assembly for a vehicle seat includes a housing portion that defines a space for receiving a display. The housing portion includes an angled rear wall. A coupling ledge extends from the angled rear wall. The coupling ledge defines a receiving slot within a recess. A coupling extension has a top edge and a bottom edge. The top edge of the coupling extension is coupled to a bottom of the housing portion. A hook is coupled to and extends from an inner surface of the coupling extension. The hook is disposed adjacent to the bottom edge of the coupling extension.

SEAT AUTOMATIC ARRANGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS OF AUTONOMOUS DRIVING VEHICLE
A seat automatic arrangement method and apparatus of an autonomous driving vehicle is provided. The seat automatic arrangement method and apparatus have an advantage that it is possible to automatically arrange seats in the vehicle into the seat-facing mode through remote control, and it is possible to prevent interference when moving the seats by arranging the seats in accordance with priority when arranging the seats into the seat-facing mode, thereby being able to more smoothly arrange the seats into the seat-facing mode in an autonomous driving vehicle.

Control of a seating arrangement
A method of controlling tilting movement of a headrest of a seating arrangement of a vehicle, the method comprising: receiving a request for tilting movement of the headrest; determining if the headrest is attached to the seat by checking for the presence of at least one electrical component that is located within the headrest; and operating a tilt motor to commence tilting movement of the headrest in response to the request only if the or each component is found to be present.

The processor is configured to acquire position information of a first seat arrangement representing current seat positions of plural seats that are configured to be capable of moving in a cabin interior, acquire position information of a second seat arrangement representing post-movement seat positions of the plural seats, identify a movement path of a moving seat of the plural seats when moving from the acquired first seat arrangement to the acquired second seat arrangement, detect occupants sitting on the plural seats, and operate the moving seat so as to move the moving seat along the identified movement path. In a case in which an occupant sitting on another seat disposed peripherally to the movement path of the moving seat has been detected, the processor is configured to either control so as to execute any one action of the group consisting of reducing a movement speed of the moving seat, canceling movement of the moving seat, and shortening a movement distance of the moving seat.
