A seating system for a vehicle includes a first seat assembly having a first seat base and a first armrest that is convertible between an armrest position and a center seat position, and a second seat assembly having a second seat base and a second armrest that is convertible between an armrest position and a middle seat position. The seating system also includes a convertible third seat assembly located between the first and second seat assemblies and having a third seat formed by the first armrest and the second armrest in the middle seat position, wherein the first and second armrests are moveable between the armrest position and the center seat position.

A vehicle entry-and-exit assistance device easily moves a board between a housed position and a using position. Embodiments include a board at an outer side of a seat adjacent to a door opening, the board rotatable between a horizontal posture and an orthogonal posture; a board support portion rotatable between a seat side-position and a flipped-up position; and a linking mechanism. The board pivots around an axis orthogonal to the vehicle width direction, and the support portion pivots around an axis extending in the vehicle width direction. The linking mechanism rotates the board to a vehicle-width-direction inner side with respect to the support portion to take the orthogonal posture when the support portion is rotated to the flipped-up position, and rotates the board to a vehicle-width-direction outer side with respect to the support portion to take the horizontal posture when the support portion is rotated to the seat side-position.

A vehicle seat includes: a cushion that has a main portion that configures part of the seat cushion or the seat back and is placed in the seat width direction middle portion of the cushion and a pair of right and left side support portions that project toward the seat upper side or the seat front side relative to the main portion; and a cover that has side support portion cover portions and a main portion cover portion, with both seat width direction end portions of the main portion cover portion being joined to the side support portion cover portions, and with the seat width direction dimension of the main portion cover portion being longer than the seat width direction dimension of a surface on the seated occupant side of the main portion in a deformed state resulting from an occupant being seated.

An extendible sofa has a base assembly, a slide out assembly and a seat assembly. The base assembly has a base assembly frame that forms a seat, and the base assembly frame has a guide. The slide-out assembly is slidably connected to the base assembly by way of the guide. The guide facilitates movement of the slide-out assembly between a compact position and an extended position in which the slide-out assembly extends out away from the base assembly to provide additional seating. The slide-out assembly has a seat guide. A car seat with a warning function includes a seat body having a seat cushion, plural adjusting posts, a wireless transmission module, a control unit and a warning element. The wireless transmission module is in wireless communication with an electronic device. When the adjusting posts are pushed by the seat cushion, the lengths of the adjusting posts are changed. If the control unit receives a body curve data from the electronic device and judges that the body curve data complies with a predetermined body data, the control unit changes the lengths of the adjusting posts according to the body curve information. Consequently, the shape of the seat cushion fits the body shape of the user. If the control unit judges that the body curve data does not comply with the predetermined body data, the control unit controls the warning element to output a warning signal.
