A vehicle includes: a driving seat; a pair of doors; a seat moving mechanism configured to move the driving seat between a driving state and a receiving state, the driving seat in the driving state being positioned at a vehicle width direction center and facing a vehicle front, and the receiving state satisfying at least one condition of: the driving seat being positioned closer to one door of the pair of doors than in the driving state or the driving seat facing further toward the one door than in the driving state; a detection unit configured to detect a portable device in a detection area in a vicinity of the vehicle and outside a passenger compartment; and a seat control unit that controls the seat moving mechanism so as to move the driving seat into the receiving state.

Seat adjustment mechanism

A vehicle seat having a base (10) and a squab (11) and an adjustment mechanism (20) whereby the position of an occupant sitting in the seat can be adjusted, the mechanism being configured so as to permit the seat to follow a motion path that provides coordinated adjustment of both height and back inclination of the occupant, the motion path being such that as the height of the occupant is raised the back inclination of the occupant becomes less supine.

AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT WITH IN-FLIGHT ROCKING MOTION
20200407067 · 2020-12-31 ·

An aircraft passenger seat construction capable of in-flight rocking motion and berthing, wherein rocking motion and berthing are mutually exclusive features. The seat construction includes a fixed frame including spaced frame members each having a support surface to be rocked on, a rocking frame including a seat pan and spaced rockers, the spaced rockers positioned to rock on the support surfaces, guides carried on the spaced rockers engaged to travel within guide slots of the spaced frame members, a backrest pivotally attached to the rocking frame, and a leg rest pivotally attached to the rocking frame. The rocking frame may rock back-and-forth in-flight or may be locked at any given position based on passenger preference. The seat construction is compatible with or without other seat adjustment mechanisms such as tracking, swivel, lie-flat and recline adjustment mechanisms.

RESTRAINT MONITORING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

A vehicle includes a rail-mounted component and a restraint monitoring system. The rail-mounted component can include one or more restraints. The restraint monitoring system includes a restraint control module, an encoder-decoder module, and a rail-mounted component control module. The rail-mounted component control module can include a restraint deployment loop and a restraint diagnostic loop. The restraint deployment loop can include a deployment signal amplifier. The restraint diagnostic loop can include a diagnostic signal amplifier. In examples that include both the deployment signal amplifier and the diagnostic signal amplifier, the deployment signal amplifier and the diagnostic signal amplifier may be wired in parallel.

WALK-IN APPARATUS FOR VEHICULAR SEAT

A walk-in apparatus for a vehicular seat provides a space behind the vehicular seat even when a seat back is not folded forwards during a walk-in motion. Since the rear end of a seat cushion is raised when the walk-in motion is performed, a space for accommodating the rear seat passenger's feet is provided under the seat cushion, thereby improving the rear seat passenger's comfort.

Device for adjusting seat of vehicle

A device for adjusting a seat of a vehicle is capable of implementing functions including adjusting a position of the seat back and forth, a height of the seat up and down, and tilting or the like by using a plurality of actuators having pistons. The functions of adjusting the position of the seat back and forth, the height of the seat up and down, and tilting or the like are carried out by providing connections between a floor panel and a seat cushion frame through a plurality of actuators and a single link, and selectively moving a piston of each actuator back and forth.
