MODULAR VEHICLE FOR PEDESTRIAN ENVIRONMENT
A modular vehicle for transporting an individual, the vehicle comprising a main frame comprising a rear end and a front end opposite to the rear end, the main frame defining a longitudinal axis. The modular vehicle comprises at least two seats mounted side-by-side in a single row substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, each of the at least two seats adapted for seating an individual, each of the two seats comprising a seat surface; and a backrest facing substantially toward the front end. The modular vehicle further comprises a driving area at the rear end of the main frame for driving the vehicle.
VEHICLE SEAT STRUCTURE
A vehicle seat structure including: a mode switching mechanism configured to switch configurations of two seats arranged in a front-rear direction between a face-to-face mode in which seated occupants are seated on the seats to face each other in the front-rear direction and a non-face-to-face mode in which the face-to-face mode is released, wherein one seat of the two seats is a wall seat attached to a wall of a vehicle which faces another seat of the two seats in the front-rear direction, and is configured to be switched, by the mode switching mechanism, between the non-face-to-face mode in which a seat surface portion of the one seat is accommodated in a concave portion in the wall and the face-to-face mode in which the seat surface portion of the one seat is pulled out from the concave portion so as to be capable of being seated on.
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems
Emergency vehicle patient transport systems are disclosed. In one embodiment, an emergency vehicle patient transport system includes: a loading passage providing access to an interior of an emergency vehicle; one or more tracks coupled to a floor of the emergency vehicle, a ceiling of the emergency vehicle, a wall of the emergency vehicle or combinations thereof wherein, a travel path is delineated by the one or more tracks; and a chair slidingly engaged with the one or more tracks, and vertically positioned between the floor and the ceiling. The chair locks in one or more set positions. And, the one or more set positions are selected from a group consisting of an airway care position, an extended airway care position, a procedural care position, a responder position, a patient care position, and a patient load position.
Reconfigurable seat
A seat surface part is switchable by a switching mechanism between a forward-unfolded posture in which the seat surface part is forwardly unfolded down so that a first support surface comes into a state at a low position where the seated person lowers his or her body to sit, and a second support surface comes into a state of forming a backwardly inclined surface that is inclined backwardly downward, and a folded-up posture in which the seat surface part is folded up backward from the forward-unfolded posture so that the second support surface is lifted up at a higher position than a position of the first support surface in the forward-unfolded posture, and an upper surface inclined forwardly downward is formed by the backwardly inclined surface so that the second support surface comes into a state at a high position where the seated person perches in a standing posture.
Convertible leaning post seating system for marine vessels
A convertible seating system for a marine vessel includes a frame and a seat mounted on the frame and defining a first support surface. A backrest is configured for movement relative to the seat and the frame between a first position and a second position. In the second position, the backrest defines a second support surface lying generally parallel and vertically displaced relative to the first support surface.
Passenger cabin of a vehicle and a method of manufacturing a passenger cabin
The invention relates to a passenger cabin of a vehicle, in particular a saloon coach of a rail vehicle, wherein the passenger cabin (1) comprises a room divider (10), wherein the room divider (10) is attached to a cabin frame, wherein the room divider (10) comprises at least one backrest surface (11, 12), wherein at least a section of the backrest surface (11, 12) extends along a longitudinal axis (3) of the passenger cabin (1).
Device for mounting a seat or a standing plate relative to a frame of a vehicle
The invention relates to a device (1) for mounting a seat (2) or a standing plate (25) relative to a frame (3) of a vehicle. The device comprises a seat holder (4) or a standing plate holder (4a) having at least one flange (7) extending laterally from the seat holder or the standing plate holder. The seat holder or the standing plate holder is pivotally mounted to the frame so that the frame and the seat holder or the standing plate holder can move relative to each other. The device has at least one first vibration damper (8) and/N or at least one stop (10) limiting the possible movement of the at least one flange thereby providing free movement until limits for the pivotal movement are met; these limits are adjustable. The device may also be provided with other kinds of vibration dampers (15, 18) designed and arranged to counteract that vibrations and movements of the frame during driving are transferred to the driver. Hereby a less damaging and more pleasant driving is obtained. The invention also relates to a vehicle with such a device.
Vehicle including a drive unit and a seat provided on the drive unit via a lift unit
A vehicle includes: a vehicle body frame; a drive unit provided on the vehicle body frame and movable on a floor surface; a seat disposed above the vehicle body frame to support buttocks of a user; a lift unit provided between the vehicle body frame and the seat to raise and lower the seat between a low position and a high position; and at least one support member extending downward from the seat and provided, at a lower portion thereof, with a footrest for supporting soles of the user. The support member is provided to be displaceable vertically relative to the seat, and the support member is displaced such that a distance between the seat and the footrest when the seat is in the high position is greater than a distance between the seat and the footrest when the seat is in the low position.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat including a seat cushion including a cushion body that supports buttocks of an occupant, and cushion side portions disposed on both seat width direction sides of the cushion body, a seatback including a back body that supports a back of the occupant, and back side portions disposed on both seat width direction sides of the back body, and an adjustment mechanism including at least one of a cushion adjustment mechanism that on actuation moves the cushion body in a seat up-down direction with respect to the cushion side portions and pivots the cushion body about an axis running along the seat width direction, or a back adjustment mechanism that on actuation moves the back body in a seat front-rear direction with respect to the back side portions and pivots the back body about an axis running along the seat width direction.
Shock mitigation apparatus
Described herein is a shock mitigation apparatus. The shock mitigation apparatus may be utilized in a marine environment, able to absorb shocks transmitted to a seat system from a structure to which the seat is affixed. The shock mitigation apparatus includes at least one leaf spring wherein the leaf spring is cantilevered at one end and pivoted at a distal end thereof, and wherein the pivoted end is free to articulate upon flexure of the leaf spring.
