APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING A SEAT POSITION
The invention relates to an apparatus for adjusting a seat position for a vehicle seat, which comprises at least one support element for a seat part and can be connected to a seat substructure, wherein the apparatus comprises at least one first limb and at least one second limb, wherein the limbs can be rotatably arranged on the seat substructure and the at least one support element, wherein a first angle α between the first limb and the support element can be adjusted by an angle adjustment device, wherein the at least one first limb and the at least one second limb each have a lever portion, and these are mechanically coupled, and wherein a change in the angle α causes a displacement of the at least one support element along a height axis Z, and a change in an angle of inclination θ of the support element.
Pneumatic seat support
A pneumatic seat support by itself supports a seat above a floor of a vehicle. The pneumatic seat support has upper and lower air chambers. The lower air chamber is a rigid cylindrical tube. The upper air chamber is a flexible cylindrical bellows, with a diameter greater than the diameter of the tube. Three or more linear shafts extending through the upper air chamber and into the lower air chamber provide a single-degree-of-freedom bearing support structure that allows vertical motion of the seat but withstands horizontal loads on the seat. When the seat moves vertically downward, it compresses air in both chambers, providing a seat support system with a natural oscillation frequency which is less than 2.4 Hz, and preferably in the range of 1.5-2.2 Hz.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEAT VIBRATION CANCELLATION
A method for cancelling seat vibration includes receiving a first accelerometer measurement. The method also includes receiving a second accelerometer measurement. The method also includes determining a counter torque value based on the first accelerometer measurement and the second accelerometer measurement. The method also includes selectively controlling a motor using the counter torque value.
DEVICE FOR THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF A VEHICLE SEAT
Device for the height adjustment of a vehicle seat, wherein the device comprises a lower part for arranging on a vehicle, wherein the device has an upper part for arranging a vehicle seat and/or for arranging a rotary unit for a vehicle seat, wherein the lower part and the upper part are coupled together via an actuating arm, wherein the device has a damping member. The device is characterized in that the damping member is present between the upper part and the lower part, wherein the damping member is configured to alter a spacing of the upper part relative to the lower part and wherein the device comprises a spring element and the spring element is present on the device such that it acts counter to a direction of extension of the damping member.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEAT VIBRATION CANCELLATION
A method for cancelling seat vibration includes receiving, from an accelerometer, a plurality of accelerometer measurements and applying a first filter to the plurality of accelerometer measurements to remove accelerometer measurements of the plurality of accelerometer measurements having a frequency above a first threshold frequency. The method also includes applying a second filter to an output of the first filter to remove accelerometer measurements of the output of the first filter having a frequency above a second threshold frequency and applying a third filter to an output of the second filter to generate an accelerometer measurement output having a center frequency corresponding to a resonant frequency of the vibration of the at least one component of the seat. The method also includes determining an absolute magnitude value of the accelerometer measurement output and selectively controlling a motor based on the absolute magnitude value of the accelerometer measurement output.
GROUNDS MAINTENANCE VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
Suspension systems and grounds maintenance vehicles incorporating the same are disclosed. The suspension system may include biasing elements or springs that may be adjusted to vary the preload and thus change the spring and dampening characteristics of the suspension system. In some embodiments, the system may include an adjustment mechanism that permits simultaneous adjustment of two springs via a single action. In other embodiments, features adapted to assist an operator with mounting/dismounting the vehicle are disclosed.
SCISSOR LIFT ASSEMBLY
A vehicle seat includes a seat base operably coupled with a seatback and having a seat pan. An upper connector is positioned on the seat pan. A lift assembly is operably coupled with the seat pan and includes a bracket defining a bracket slot. An outer link has a first end rotatably coupled with the seat pan and a second end that includes a lower connector. The lower connector is slidably received by the bracket slot. An inner link has a first end rotatably coupled with the bracket and a second end that defines a link slot. The link slot is configured to receive the upper connector. A sector gear is configured to facilitate vertical translation of the seat base.
SUSPENSION SEAT
A suspension seat, including: a lower side member that forms a vehicle lower side of a suspension; an upper side member that forms a vehicle upper side of the suspension, and that is configured to support a vehicle seat body from the vehicle lower side; a suspension link mechanism that includes a vehicle lower side portion coupled to the lower side member and a vehicle upper side portion coupled to the upper side member, and that undergoes displacement so as to displace the upper side member along a vehicle vertical direction; a linear displacement section that is provided at the suspension link mechanism and is configured to undergo linear displacement in conjunction with displacement of the suspension link mechanism; and a locking mechanism that immobilizes the linear displacement section so as to immobilize displacement of the suspension link mechanism.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted seat device includes an SB main frame, a back rest which the back of a seated person leans on, a relay disc fixed to the back rest, a first engagement member fixed with respect to the SB main frame at a position higher than the relay disc, an upper wire for suspending and holding the back rest from the first engagement member so as to be able to swing with respect to the SB main frame with the relay disc being the center, and a height adjustment mechanism constructed to be capable of pulling in part of the upper wire, so that an amount by which the upper wire is pulled in is changed to cause a change in disposed height of the back rest with respect to the SB main frame.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED SEAT DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted seat device includes an SB main frame, a backrest, an SB subframe, and one or more front-back position regulation mechanisms for regulating the position of the SB subframe in the front-back direction relative to the SB main frame. Each front-back position regulation mechanism includes a front restraining bracket secured relative to the SB main frame, a rear restraining bracket secured on the SB subframe, and a front-back wire strung between the front and rear restraining brackets. The rear restraining bracket is deformed such that its front end portion is displaced rearward relative to its end portion upon input of a load greater than a predetermined load. A maximum pulling load of the front-back wire is greater than a load that causes initial deformation of the rear restraining bracket.
