VIBRATION DAMPENING SEAT SUSPENSION
20210155128 · 2021-05-27 ·

An anti-vibration seat mount for tractors and other rough riding equipment with a paired base and top frame, the base frame separated from the top frame by a tapered spring set, with each spring interconnecting the base frame to the top frame. One tapered spring connects each distal end of the top frame to each distal end of the base frame, with the bottom of each tapered spring is mounted immovably to the base frame. A central pipe from the top frame is received into to the top of each tapered spring, downward through the center of each tapered spring. Vibration and bouncing motions of the work vehicle or tractor onto which the seat suspension is mounted are greatly reduced, with movements absorbed while self-centering back to an original position.

Seat for vehicle

A seat for a vehicle includes a seat back frame, a first elastic member, and a second elastic member. The seat back frame includes a main frame and a sub-frame. The first elastic member and the second elastic member are configured to support the sub-frame such that the sub-frame is rotatable in a width direction of the seat and are mounted between the main frame and upper end portions of the sub-frame on both sides in the width direction of the seat. Each of the first elastic member and the second elastic member has a limit of elongation and has a characteristic in which a load that is applied to the sub-frame in a rear direction of the seat acts as tension to generate a reaction force due to the limit of elongation and does not generate the reaction force in the width direction of the seat.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEAT VIBRATION CANCELLATION

A method for cancelling seat vibration includes receiving a first accelerometer measurement. The method also includes receiving a second accelerometer measurement. The method also includes determining a counter torque value based on the first accelerometer measurement and the second accelerometer measurement. The method also includes selectively controlling a motor using the counter torque value.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE VEHICLE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Suspension systems and grounds maintenance vehicles incorporating the same are disclosed. The suspension system may include biasing elements or springs that may be adjusted to vary the preload and thus change the spring and dampening characteristics of the suspension system. In some embodiments, the system may include an adjustment mechanism that permits simultaneous adjustment of two springs via a single action. In other embodiments, features adapted to assist an operator with mounting/dismounting the vehicle are disclosed.

An adequate mechanical stiffness and strength are afforded to a tumble seat or a vehicle seat having a latch mechanism provided in a rear end of the seat cushion. A cushion frame (F1) of the seat includes a side frame (5) extending in a fore and aft direction, and the side frame includes a first member (10) comprising a channel member having an open side facing sideways and a second member (11) attached to the first member so as to form a closed cross section jointly with the first member, and extending downward further than the first member. A latch mechanism is positioned under the first member and attached to the second member.

Seat arranged for enhanced sound perception via vibration

The invention relates to a seat arranged for enhanced sound perception via vibration including a padding and a sound reproduction assembly (20), which includes at least one vibration source (26), at least one elastic element (16, 21) and at least one frame structure (18, 22), which sound reproduction assembly is at least partially arranged inside the padding. The elastic element/-s (16, 21) are nonhomogenous element/-s and located in contact with the frame structure (18, 22) and the vibration source (26) and configured to provide elastically and mechanically tuned mounting and that the elastic element/-s are configured to create at least lateral vibration to the surface of the seat.

VEHICLE-MOUNTED SEAT DEVICE

A vehicle-mounted seat device includes an SB main frame, a back rest which the back of a seated person leans on, a relay disc fixed to the back rest, a first engagement member fixed with respect to the SB main frame at a position higher than the relay disc, an upper wire for suspending and holding the back rest from the first engagement member so as to be able to swing with respect to the SB main frame with the relay disc being the center, and a height adjustment mechanism constructed to be capable of pulling in part of the upper wire, so that an amount by which the upper wire is pulled in is changed to cause a change in disposed height of the back rest with respect to the SB main frame.
