A longitudinal adjustment mechanism for a vehicle seat may have a first rail and a second rail. The rails may engage about one another to form an inner channel. A spindle nut may be connected to the second rail and a spindle operationally connected to the spindle nut may be arranged in the inner channel. On one end of the first rail, a transmission may be driven by a motor, which may interact with the spindle. The spindle may be screwed into an internal thread of a worm gear of the transmission, and the spindle may be conjointly connected by a fixing element to the worm gear. The fixing element may be arranged coaxially to a spindle axle of the spindle and may be pressed between a front end portion of the spindle and the worm gear. A vehicle seat having the longitudinal adjustment mechanism is also provided.

The mechanism includes: two connecting rods, each connecting rod being connected to one of the side flanges; a tube extending between the two connecting rods; and at least one clip attached to the front flange and having a baseplate and two branches extending from the baseplate to form a receiving space wherein a portion of the tube is received; each clip further having at least one tie arranged between the baseplate and one of the branches. The baseplate, the two branches, and each tie are integral with each other.

A connection structure for a composite backrest and a method for making the same are provided. The connection structure includes two frames, a backrest body, and metal bushings. The metal bushings include a group of left metal bushings and a group of right metal bushings. The two frames are respectively fixed to the left side and the right side of the backrest body by the left metal bushings and the right metal bushings. The method includes: punching the backrest body and the frames; placing the frames into the backrest body; processing the metal bushings; sandblasting or sanding the external surface of the metal bushing; coating a configured structural adhesive on the metal bushing, and oppositely bonding the metal bushing; fixing the bonded metal bushing by a tool; and placing the fixed metal bushing, the composite backrest and the two frames into a drying oven for heating.

A combination structure of a seat frame includes: a first and a second side cushion frames installed on a first and a second sides of a seat, and configured to slide forward and rearward, wherein the first and the second sides of the seat are opposite to each other; a center cushion frame provided between the side cushion frames and having a first side fixed to the first side cushion frame; and a support guide device connected between a second side of the center cushion frame and the second side cushion frame, and configured to guide a sliding movement of each of the second side cushion frame and the center cushion frame while supporting weights of the second side cushion frame and the center cushion frame.

The seat back (30) has: a first member (50) which is formed in a plate-like shape; and a second member (60) with a hat-shaped cross-section, which is configured so that a flange section (61) is in contact with one surface, in a thickness direction, of the first member (50). A center bead (52) is provided at the center portion of the first member (50). The center bead (52) is configured so that a longitudinal end of the center bead (52) and the second member (60) are overlapped in a plan view viewed in the thickness direction of the first member (50). As a result, the first member (50) of the seat back (30) is prevented from being deformed at the longitudinal end of the center bead (52).
