The variable section bench also includes at least one frame interface portion comprising a fore-aft section, at least one cantilevered portion comprising a fore-aft section, and a seating surface that extends along a full length of the vehicle seat in a lateral direction for a plurality of passengers. The at least one frame interface portion of the variable section bench includes increased thickness compared to the at least one cantilevered portion.
COMPLIANT EDGE FRAME BOLSTER FOR SUSPENSION SEATING
A vehicle seat includes a support structure, a seat surface (14) and a molded polymeric frame (18). The frame has an edge region and the seat surface (14) is mounted to the frame (18) and the frame is mounted to the support structure. At least a portion of the edge region is flexible.
SEAT PART, IN PARTICULAR A BACKREST FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
A seat part for a vehicle seat may have a support structure which has a tubular frame and a composite component. The tubular frame may have at least one opening on a front side. A threaded sleeve may be arranged and the composite component is arranged on the front side of the tubular frame and is secured to the tubular frame via a screw screwed into the threaded sleeve.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEAT SHELLS FOR VEHICLE SEATS
A device for producing seat shells for vehicle seats may have an injection molding tool, in which an injection molding compound, in particular of a plastic, particularly of a thermoplastic plastic, can be molded on a semi-finished product, in particular an organo-sheet. The semi-finished product may be at least lateral cheeks of the respective seat shell, wherein a cavity in the injection molding tool can be modified in a forming region for the lateral cheeks.
Seat element with a ventilation system
The present disclosure relates to a seat member comprising a first shell, a second shell fixed to the first shell, and a padding covering the second shell such that the second shell is sandwiched between the first shell and the padding, the padding being configured to support a user, and a ventilation system comprising a fan and a duct, the duct being defined by the first shell and the second shell and forming an air passage placing the fan and padding in communication via holes in the second shell. The duct comprises a housing able to receive the fan, and the first shell comprises a door through which the fan can be placed in the housing, the fan having a first orifice for the passage of air between the exterior and the fan, the door having a hole located facing the first orifice.
Quick-attachment assembly for attaching a seatback frame to a vehicle frame and selected detachment therefrom
A vehicle seat attachment includes a riser bracket of a vehicle frame. A pin is biased through the riser bracket to a securing position. A seat bracket has an angled channel that extends to a securing aperture, wherein slidable engagement of the angled channel with the pin is configured to bias the pin away from the securing position until the pin reaches the securing aperture wherein the pin returns to the securing position.
Staggered Pneumatic Articulation System for Seat Back Deployment and Comfort
In embodiments, an aircraft passenger seat assembly includes a seatback assembly including one or more lateral seatback sections. In embodiments, at least one lateral seatback section includes a base seatback panel coupled to a seatback frame, a first set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the base seatback panel, and a second set of segmented seatback panels coupled to the first set of segmented seatback panels. In embodiments, the aircraft passenger seat assembly further includes a plurality of actuatable assemblies, wherein the plurality of actuatable assemblies include a first set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the first set of segmented seatback panels relative to the base seatback panel, and a second set of actuatable assemblies configured to selectively actuate the second set of segmented seatback panels relative to the first set of segmented seatback panels.
Vehicle seat having internal support member
A vehicle seat includes: a frame provided in at least one of a seat cushion and a seat back; an internal support member for supporting an occupant, the internal support member including a main body in plate or sheet form positioned within the frame and extending substantially in parallel with the frame, and a pair of inclined portions extending laterally outward from at least a part of either lateral side of the main body with a slant away from the frame; a pad placed on a front side of the frame and the internal support member; a skin member covering the pad; and a clip securing another member to one of the inclined portions. The one inclined portion is formed with a tubular portion projecting from a back side thereof orthogonally to the main body, the tubular portion internally defining a mounting hole receiving the clip therein.
Vehicle seat having internal support member
A vehicle seat includes an internal support member for supporting a seat occupant. The internal support member includes a main body in plate or sheet form positioned within a seat cushion frame, a pair of inclined portions extending laterally from a part of either lateral side of the main body with an upward slant, and front and rear mounting portions engaged by front and rear cross members of the seat cushion frame. A pressure sensor is mounted on a part of an upper surface of the internal support member located ahead of the inclined portions. The main body of the internal support member is provided with a pair of openings located on either side of the pressure sensor, and a connecting portion connecting the pressure sensor with a part of the front mounting portion. The pressure sensor and the openings are spaced from the front edge of the main body.
