A belt member includes first and second ends and a deployable portion disposed therebetween. The deployable portion is operable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed within the interior portion of the seatback and the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the stowed position. The deployable portion of the belt member is disposed outside of the interior portion of the seatback and outside of the interior portion of the seat portion when the deployable portion is in the deployed position. One or more retractor mechanisms are operably coupled to the belt member and operative to retract a portion of the deployable portion of the belt member after or during deployment.
DEVICE FOR ARRANGING A PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM IN A VEHICLE
A device for arranging a passenger restraint system in a vehicle to secure a passenger seated in the vehicle, including a support arrangement having a vertical support and a cross strut. When arranged on the vehicle, the vertical support is arranged upright on a vehicle floor. The device includes a fastening element, that when arranged on the vehicle, encompasses a rail of a vehicle chassis, at least laterally and beneath, such that, when the support arrangement is arranged on the vehicle, the fastening element bears against the support arrangement. The support arrangement is held on the vehicle chassis by the fastening element and, when the support arrangement is arranged on the vehicle, the fastening element passes progressively through the vehicle floor, starting from the rail of the vehicle chassis.
DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR DELIVERY VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a door assembly. The body is supported by the chassis, and defines a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The driver compartment has a cab opening and the cargo compartment has a cargo opening. The door assembly is coupled to the body and provides selective access into the driver compartment and into the cargo compartment through the cab opening and cargo opening, respectively. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door. The first door is movable between a first position extending across the cab opening and a second position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening. The second door is movable between a third position extending across the cargo opening and a fourth position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes right and left side frames 10, and an elastic member (cushion spring 20) run between the right and left side frames 10. The right and left side frames 10 include side walls 11 disposed opposite to each other in a lateral direction, and flange portions (upper flange portions 12) respectively extending laterally inward from the side walls 11, and the elastic member is attached to the flange portions.
REAR SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR AN OFF-ROAD VEHICLE
A vehicle has a frame, seats, front and rear suspension assemblies, front and rear wheels, a motor, a rear differential, left and right constant velocity joints operatively connected to the rear differential; and left and right half-shaft operatively connecting the constant velocity joints to the rear wheels. Each of the rear suspension assemblies has: a trailing arm having a front end pivotally connected to the frame; a knuckle pivotally connected to a rear portion of the trailing arm; lower and upper links pivotally connected between the trailing arm and the frame; and a toe link pivotally connected between the knuckle and the frame. Each of the rear suspension assemblies has an instant center axis passing through a connection between the trailing arm and the frame. Centers of the velocity joints are laterally outward of their corresponding instant center axes when viewed in a top plan view of the vehicle.
