RECREATIONAL VEHICLE WITH A SEAT BELT BRACKET
A recreational vehicle, in particular a motorhome, has a vehicle frame and at least one belt support which is attached at least indirectly to the vehicle frame. A battery space is provided, which is arranged at least partially within the vehicle frame. The belt support is arranged at least partially above the battery space, and the belt support is connected to the vehicle frame in such a way that connecting elements, which serve to connect the belt support to the vehicle frame, are arranged outside the battery space.
LOAD-BEARING SEATBELT RETRACTOR AND SEAT STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a load-bearing seatbelt retractor for a seat structure of a vehicle seat, the seatbelt retractor having two housing halves between which functional modules of the seatbelt retractor are disposed. One functional module is a belt reel having a winding axis. The two housing halves form two mutually parallel receptacles in the seatbelt retractor, which are oriented perpendicular to the winding axis. Two seat bars can be inserted into the receptacles. The two housing halves are in contact at least on two contact lines above and below the functional modules with respect to an insertion direction of the receptacles. The lower contact line splits open on both sides along the winding axis such that respective intermediate spaces open toward the receptacles are formed.
VEHICLE SEAT, IN PARTICULAR MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat may have a first seat component that may be a backrest lower portion, a second seat component which can be pivoted about a pivot axis relative to the first seat component, in particular a backrest upper portion. The second seat component may have a slotted guiding member, a journal which is movably guided in the slotted guiding member of the second seat component, and an actuator for displacing the journal within the slotted guiding member. The first seat component may have a slotted support member in which the journal is movably guided, where the slotted guiding member and the slotted support member may intersect with each other in an intersection region.
Repositionable seat for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis. a body coupled to the chassis, and a seating unit. The body includes a partition and a floor. The partition separates an interior of the body into a cab area and a cargo area. The floor defines a first interface within the cab area and a second interface within the cargo area. The first interface and the second interface are discrete and not connected. The seating unit includes a frame assembly having a pair of legs that engage with the first interface and the second interface such that the seating unit is selectively repositionable between (a) a first position forward of the partition and within the cab area and (b) a second position rearward of the partition and within the cargo area.
Window assembly for delivery vehicle
A vehicle includes a chassis, a cab, a cargo body, and a window assembly. The cab is coupled to the chassis. The cargo body is coupled to the chassis, rearward of the cab. The window assembly is positioned on a door of the cab and includes a first window, a second window, and a seal. The first window is fixedly coupled with one or more support columns. The second window is translatably coupled with the first window, and is translatable between a first position and a second position. The seal extends between the first window and the second window. The seal is fixedly coupled with the first window and is configured to sealingly engage the second window when the second window is in the first position.
Passenger seat arrest mechanism
Described are devices and methods for arresting forward motion of a passenger seat back in a controlled manner using an energy absorbing element connected between structural elements of a pivotally-attached passenger seat back. The energy absorbing element includes an interference element and an energy absorbing element that are operably connected with each other so that, in an upright configuration, the combination of the energy absorbing element and the interference element resists movement of the passenger seat back with respect to the first structural element of the passenger seat back, and in transition to a folded-forward configuration, the interference element deforms the energy absorbing element to slow forward movement of the passenger seat back.
Seat back frame for automobile
A seat back frame for automobile includes a first side frame and a second side frame that are arranged apart from each other in a vehicle width direction, an upper frame that connects an upper end portion of the first side frame and an upper end portion of the second side frame, and an upper bracket that is attached to the upper end portion of the first side frame and guides a seat belt. The first side frame includes a columnar member made of an aluminum alloy extruded material and having a closed cross-section portion in a cross-section perpendicular to a vehicle vertical direction, and a plate-shaped reinforcing member made of high-tension steel, joined to the columnar member, and extending to a vehicle rear side of the columnar member.
COMBINATION INFLATABLE AND WEB-BASED RESTRAINT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT
A combination inflatable and web-based restraint for a motor vehicle seat may include an occupant restraint collar having an arcuate portion with first and second spaced apart legs each joined thereto or integral therewith, the collar configured to extend about a neck and over opposite shoulders of an occupant of the seat, first and second shoulder webs of the restraint each movably coupled to a respective one of the first and second legs such the collar is movable along the first and second shoulder webs, an inflatable airbag housed, in an uninflated state, within the arcuate portion and the first and second legs of the collar, the airbag and configured to open a scam of, and extend out of, the arcuate portion and the first and second legs upon deployment thereof, and at least one inflator fluidly coupled to the airbag for deploying the airbag.
Seat belt buckle presenter assembly
A seat belt buckle presenter assembly (10) has a guide track (40) and a buckle presenter assembly (20). The guide track (40) is anchored to a vehicle seat frame at a first end and a second end. The buckle presenter assembly (10) is secured to and mounted onto the guide track (40) and is movable along the guide track (40) from a stowed position at the first end to an extended position toward the second end. Preferably, the guide track (40) is inclined having the first end of the guide track (40) fixed lower than the second end.
Vehicle seat
A vehicle seat that can reduce the mass of a side frame without significantly reducing the mechanical strength of the side frame is provided. The vehicle seat comprises a back frame that comprises a side frame that extends substantially vertically, and a recliner that is coupled to a lower end of the side frame and configured so that the back frame is pivotable. The side frame comprises a side frame body that comprises a closed cross-section portion and extends from an upper end of the side frame to the recliner, and a reinforcing member that extends to the recliner from a point between a first and a second end of the side frame body along an extension axis of the side frame body and is fixed to the side frame body with at least a part of the reinforcing member being inserted into the closed cross-section portion.
