Seat assemblies including seat brackets and spreader brackets are described. A seat bracket can include an upper portion, a lower portion, and a frangible portion. The frangible portion can be formed from composite material and include a particular layer orientation. A spreader bracket can include a first component configured to couple with a second component to form a coupled structure. A structural fill material can be disposed within the coupled structure. The first component and the second component can be formed from composite material.

Modular monocoque backrest

A modular monocoque backrest is provided. The modular monocoque backrest may comprise a front shroud, a back shroud, and an at least one back spar. The front shroud may be coupled to the back shroud, and the back spar may be configured as a mounting point, enabling the modular monocoque backrest to mount to an aircraft floor. The front shroud and the back shroud may comprise a carbon fiber composite material, allowing the modular monocoque backrest to be modular in nature. The carbon fiber composite material may enable the modular monocoque backrest to have a lightweight design while also maintaining resistance to dynamic crash loads.

Recliner attachment bracket

A recliner attachment bracket includes a closed-section structural material having a recliner attachment portion. The recliner attachment portion is configured such that surfaces of two plate materials are joined to each other by pressing a central part of the closed-section structural material while hollow closed-section structures are left on both sides of the closed-section structural material. A lower end of the recliner attachment portion is constituted by only one of the plate materials.

Vehicle seat armrest with retractable arm support portion

A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a seatbelt buckle coupled to the seat base. An armrest is coupled to the seat base. The armrest includes a retractable arm support portion movable to positions between, and including, a retracted position and a fully extended position. The armrest is structured and coupled to the seat base such that, when the buckle is at a maximum forward position of the buckle and the retractable arm support portion is in the retracted position, a first plane extending perpendicular to a fore-aft axis of the seat and through a forward-most portion of the buckle is rearwardly spaced apart from a second plane extending parallel to the first plane and through a rear-most portion of the retractable arm support portion.

SEATBELT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A TWO-POINT SEATBELT

A seat assembly for a vehicle includes a seat, and a first seatbelt having a first end and a second end. The first end of the first seatbelt is coupled to the seat. The seat assembly includes a latch plate and a second seatbelt. The latch plate is fixed to the second end of the first seatbelt, and the second seatbelt is slideably coupled to the latch plate. The first seatbelt and the second seatbelt increase lateral support of the occupant during, e.g., a rollover event, oblique or side impacts.

A cushion frame for a conveyance seat is provided. The cushion frame comprises a first and a second side frame; a connecting member that couples the first side frame to the second side frame; a fixing bracket that comprises a first and a second fixing part; and a belt anchor that is disposed in the fixing bracket and is coupled to a seat belt. The first fixing part comprises a first plate-surface that is substantially parallel to a seat-width axis. The second fixing part comprises a second plate-surface that is substantially perpendicular to the first plate-surface and is situated in the opposite side of the second side frame across the first side frame. The belt anchor is fixed to the second fixing part.

SEAT BELT COVER

A seat for a motor vehicle includes a seat base, a seat back extending upwardly from a rear portion of the seat base, a seat belt, a portion of the seat belt stored in the seat back, an emergency locking retractor in an outboard side of the seat back, the seat belt being threaded through the emergency locking retractor, and a cover covering the emergency locking retractor and the portion of the seat belt stored in the seat back. The cover may include a first cover piece covering a first side of the emergency locking retractor and the portion of the seat belt stored in the seat back and a second cover piece covering a second side of the emergency locking retractor and the portion of the seat belt stored in the seat back.

Vehicle seat structure and method for assembling a vehicle seat structure

A vehicle seat structure has a structural component which has an automatic belt unit. The automatic belt unit is arranged in a hollow space of the structural component and the structural component is connected in a positive-locking and/or materially engaging and/or non-positive-locking manner to at least one other component of the vehicle seat structure.
