Seat backrest with heating panel

A seat for a passenger compartment, for example a vehicle passenger compartment. The seat has a backrest that includes a heating device for heating the space behind the backrest. The heating device includes, from front to back of the backrest, an insulating layer which is a foam, a heating layer, and an outer layer which forms the back of the backrest. The assembly of the insulating layer and the heating layer is achieved by compression on at least their peripheries.

Seat core material

A seat core material having reduced deformation, extremely excellent dimensional accuracy, sense of unity, and strength is thus provided. The frame member and the foamed particle molding are integrated in the seat core material.

The present invention relates to a foam composition for vehicle seat cushions, foam for a vehicle seat cushion, and a manufacturing method therefor, the foam composition comprising: (A) 49.5 wt % to 80 wt % of a polypropylene-based resin; (B) 19.5 wt % to 50 wt % of a modified olefin-based elastomer resin having a melting temperature (Tm) of 60° C. to 110° C. and a melting index (MI) value of 0.5 g/10 min to 4 g/10 min, as measured at 190° C. under a load of 2.16 kg according to ASTM D1238; and 0.1 wt % to 0.5 wt % of (C) a filler.

Multi-layer textile seat for dynamic conditions

A vehicle seat includes a seat base and a seatback coupled to the seat base. The seatback includes a rigid frame, a first textile layer attached to the rigid frame, a second textile layer attached to the rigid frame, and at least one textile interconnecting tube coupling the first textile layer to the second textile layer. The textile interconnecting tube is attached in tension between the first textile layer and the second textile layer to dampen dynamic loads applied to the seatback. Instead of (or in addition to) the textile interconnecting tube, the seatback may include a plurality of tension elements interconnecting the first textile layer and the second textile layer.

PROCESS FOR PRODUCING MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT CUSHIONING
20220001583 · 2022-01-06 ·

The invention relates to a method for creating a motor vehicle seat cushion. The inventive method provides for a cover having a format of a complex comprising a layer of covering material and a sublayer of elastically compressible foam, and for arranging on the sublayer a film based on thermoplastic polyurethane. The film has a melting point and a melt mass-flow index that breaks down under the action of the heat released during the formation of the foam. The film is provided with a reinforcing thin-film to form a two-layer barrier against the penetration of foam. The reinforcing thin-film is based on a thermoplastic polyurethane with a melting point higher than that of the film and has a melt mass-flow index lower than that of the film, to have greater strength than the film so that the reinforcing thin-film breakdown under the action of heat is delayed.

SEAT PAD AND SEAT PAD MANUFACTURING METHOD

A seat pad 1 is a seat pad including a resin foamed body 50, and a sheet member 70 buried in the resin foamed body, and when a direction orthogonal to a right-left direction and a thickness direction of the seat pad is referred to as an extending direction of the seat pad, at least a central part of the sheet member is curved in a convex shape on a back surface side of the seat pad in the extending direction.
