Industrial vehicle armrest
An armrest includes an upper support section having one or more ventilation and drainage apertures that couple an upper surface of the upper support section to a lower portion of the armrest to facilitate airflow and drainage between the upper surface of the upper support section and the lower portion of the armrest. The armrest also includes one or more control implements and an arm pad removably coupled to the upper support section. The arm pad includes one or more pad apertures formed therein that communicate with the ventilation and drainage apertures to allow ventilation and drainage between an upper surface of the arm pad and the lower portion of the armrest.

ARM SUPPORT SYSTEMS
Systems and methods are provided for supporting an arm of a user using an arm support coupled to a mounting structure, e.g., mounted to a seat, such as an automobile seat within a vehicle. The arm support is configured to accommodate movement of the arm while following the movement without substantially interfering with the movement of the user's arm. One or more compensation elements may be coupled to the arm support to apply an offset force to at least partially offset a gravitational force acting on the arm as the user moves and the arm support follows the movement of the user's arm, the one or more compensation elements providing a force profile that varies the offset force based on an orientation of the arm support.
CONFORMABLE AND RECONFIGURABLE OCCUPANT SUPPORT STRUCTURE
An occupant support structure and a method of customizing an occupant support structure. The occupant support structure may comprise a base and a reconfigurable cushion carried by the base. The reconfigurable cushion may include an occupant support surface and a bladder. The bladder may include an outer wall that defines an inner cavity underlying the occupant support surface and two or more overlapping material layers disposed within the cavity. The overlapping material layers may be adapted to selectively transition from a compliant state to a rigid state and vice versa by selective control of a pressure condition across the outer wall of the bladder to reconfigure or conform the occupant support surface of the cushion to a contour of a portion of an occupant supported by the cushion.
Add-On Element, System and Method for Producing an Add-On Element
An add-on element for adding onto a passenger-compartment component of a motor vehicle includes a basic body composed of a flexible first material, and at least one actuator body composed of a flexible second material. The at least one actuator body is deformable by being acted upon with an actuator source. The basic body has at least one receiving region with a receiving-region shape, wherein the at least one actuator body is arranged in the at least one receiving region. By way of a change in shape of the at least one actuator body, the receiving-region shape of the at least one receiving region can be changed.

A seat assembly/system providing a seat and a console for a vehicle interior may comprise a base, a back assembly movable between a seat position and a console position and a cushion assembly movable between a seat position and a console position. The seat system may provide at least one functional module operable when the console is provided. The seat may be provided with the back assembly in the seat position and the cushion assembly in the seat position; the console may be provided with the back assembly in the console position and/or the cushion assembly in the console position. The seat system may comprise a control system, a control element, a switch and/or a sensor. The functional module may move a head restraint to a retracted position. The seat system may comprise a belt mechanism to position a belt for passage through the back assembly.

A trim element includes a body defining an outer surface of the trim element, at least part of the body being deformable and having a deformable guide surface extending in a first direction. The trim element further includes at least one actuating element having an actuating segment extending non-rectilinearly in the first direction. The actuating segment cooperates with the guide surface in an actuating area, the guide surface adopting the shape of the actuating segment in the actuating area. The actuating segment is movable relative to the body in the first direction such that the actuating area is movable and the body deforms when the actuating element is moved in the first direction.

A dashboard of a vehicle has a structure that includes at least one first element and at least one second element, and a skin covering at least part of the first element and the second element. The structure and the skin together define an outer surface of the dashboard. Method and apparatus for automatically arranging seats of autonomous vehicle
A method and apparatus for automatically arranging seats of an autonomous vehicle enable seats to be remotely changed between a standard arrangement mode and a final target arrangement mode. The apparatus includes a manipulation device configured to generate a signal corresponding to a target arrangement mode of seats through manipulation by a passenger, seat motors respectively provided in the seats so as to control positions and postures of the seats, seat controllers for controlling operation of the seat motors, and a vehicle controller configured to transmit a signal from the manipulation device to the seat controllers, transmit an abnormal signal indicating jamming of the seats to the manipulation device or control the seat controllers provided in the vehicle. As a result, it is possible to easily change the seats to a desired arrangement mode in an autonomous vehicle without interference with peripheral components during movement of the seats.
Safety belt fastening device and child safety seat therewith
A safety belt fastening device includes a fastening arm. One end of the fastening arm is pivotally connected to a seat body of a child safety seat. The safety belt fastening device further includes an engaging structure connected to the fastening arm and for engaging with the seat body of the child safety seat, and a driving structure for driving the engaging structure to engage with the seat body in a locking status or to disengage from the seat body in a releasing status. The safety belt fastening device and the child safety seat therewith have advantages of easy operation, simple structure, high fastening strength for a safety belt, that the safety belt is not easy to fall off, that the safety belt is easy to release, and capability of meeting needs of different users.
