Armrest substrate having detachable elongated support bands

A collapsible vehicle armrest includes an armrest substrate extending between a door frame and a door trim and defining an opening therebetween. The opening has a longitudinal axis substantially parallel with the door frame. A plurality of support bands extends co-planar across the opening and parallel with the longitudinal axis. A plurality of stubs extends across each gap defined between adjacent support bands. Each stub is free of alignment with each other of the plurality of stubs in a direction perpendicular to the plurality of support bands. A cover member extends over the armrest substrate and the plurality of support bands, wherein the cover member is vertically supported proximate the opening by the plurality of parallel support bands and the plurality of stubs.

Vehicular console box

A vehicular console box includes a console body that is open on an upper side and that is attached to a floor panel of a vehicle. The console body includes a bottom portion that is positioned on an upper surface of the floor panel and sidewall portions that each stand from a corresponding one of two ends in a vehicle width direction of the bottom portion. The sidewall portions include rails that extend in a front-rear direction, the rails supporting a drink holder so that the drink holder is slidable in the front-rear direction.

Apparatus for opening and closing sliding armrest console

An apparatus for opening and closing an armrest is provided. After an armrest is slid to a position, the position of the armrest is selectively locked or unlocked using an armrest locking unit to thus prevent the weight of the armrest or vibrations of a vehicle from accidentally changing the position of the armrest against the intention of the user. The operation of unlocking the opening/closing plate from the console body and the operation of unlocking the sliding cover from the opening/closing plate are performed simultaneously with a single unlocking manipulation to allow a user to rapidly and conveniently perform the operations of opening/closing and sliding the armrest.

INSIDE DOOR HANDLE STRUCTURE

An inside door handle structure according to technology of the present disclosure includes: an opening recess formed in a recessed shape in an armrest of a door trim at a side door of a vehicle, the opening recess opening toward a vehicle upper side, and a part of the armrest acting as a door gripping section when fingers are inserted into the opening recess in a case in which the side door is opened or closed; and an inside door handle provided in the door trim at the vehicle upper side of the opening recess, an end section of the inside door handle at a vehicle front side being configured as a rotational fulcrum, and the inside door handle releasing a door lock of the side door.

ADJUSTABLE ARMREST SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR A MATERIAL HANDLING VEHICLE

Provided are systems and methods for adjusting an armrest assembly, the assembly comprising an armrest that includes an armrest pad, a rising platform having a nut aperture, a nut positioned within the nut aperture. The assembly further includes a rod assembly coupled with the armrest, an adjustment mechanism for raising or lowering the armrest, and may include one or more rotation stops coupled with a stationary plate.

Door trim armrest substrate structure

A vehicle armrest including a fabric member tensioned across a gap defined between inner and outer armrest substrates that are formed around a portion of the fabric member. At least one buckling member extends across the gap between the inner and outer armrest substrates and a cover member extends over and vertically supported by the fabric member.

ARMREST SUPPORT BRIDGE

An armrest assembly for a vehicle includes an armrest substrate having a vehicle-outboard substrate member, a vehicle-inboard substrate member, and at least one end member holding the vehicle-outboard substrate member and the vehicle-inboard substrate member at a spaced distance from one another. At least one support bridge member is disposed laterally across the spaced distance. The vehicle-outboard substrate member holds an end of the at least one support bridge member without imposing an outboard restriction on the at least one support bridge member. The armrest assembly may further include a fabric member attached to the armrest substrate, a cushion member extending over the fabric member, and a cover member extending over the cushion member, the fabric member, and the armrest substrate.

Armrest lock

An armrest lock may include a lever coupled to one side of the sliding cover, a rod provided in the sliding cover such that one side thereof is coupled to the lever, a trigger coupled to the other side of the rod and configured to operate in response to a motion of the lever, and a locking element coupled to the opening door and the armrest body and configured to be unlocked from at least one of the opening door and the armrest body when coming into contact with the trigger.

Modular rear side lining

A modular side lining for a motor vehicle includes a fastener, a first lining member including a first surface along an edge of the first lining member and at least one receiver for receiving the fastener, and a second lining member including a second surface along an edge of the second lining member. The second surface abuts the first surface to form a split line, and an extension extending from the second surface has at least one hole for receiving the fastener.

Screw cover serviceability feature

A vehicular passenger compartment trim panel assembly, a vehicular door assembly and a method of removing a vehicular passenger compartment trim panel assembly. The assembly includes a trim panel and a retention assembly where the retention assembly includes a fastener and a fastener cover. The fastener cover is sized and shaped such that when the fastener cover is secured within an aperture that is formed in the trim panel, a gap formed between them that is visible around a periphery of the A-surface defines a substantially constant width. In addition, a through-the-thickness dimension of the fastener cover includes a localized thinning in a portion of the periphery that is adjacent the clip. Such construction permits tool-free engagement of the fastener cover at the localized thinning so that the gap may be widened in response to such engagement so that the clip becomes disengaged to permit access to a screw or related fastener that is situated underneath the fastener cover.
