A palm rest assembly includes a palm rest bracket and a palm rest pad. The palm rest assembly is for a console assembly of a vehicle. The center console assembly includes a console frame. The palm rest bracket includes a generally C-shape. The palm rest bracket includes a base wall, a side wall, and an upper wall. The base wall is mounted to the console frame. The side wall extends between the base wall and the upper wall such that the upper wall is cantilevered. The palm rest pad is coupled to the upper wall.

A removable console for use in a row of vehicle seating includes a base and receptacles formed along the base. One of a plurality of interchangeable and accessory modules can be attached to the console base in each receptacle and optionally powered by the console base when installed. A vehicle interior component configured for response in event of a side impact may comprise an armrest assembly for a door panel. The armrest assembly may comprise a base section and an armrest section and a region configured for response to side impact at the door panel. The region may comprise a movable/deformable structure. Response of the armrest assembly may comprise deformation to partially absorb force and/or movement of the armrest section relative to the base section to partially cover the base section. The armrest assembly may comprise a carrier and/or mechanism to attach the armrest section to the door panel. The carrier/mechanism may be configured to guide/direct movement of the armrest section and/or to partially absorb the side impact force. The mechanism may comprise a set of pins movable within a set of slots to provide for movement of the armrest section.

A vehicle door armrest includes: a cushion; a skin covering the cushion; and a living hinge connecting the cushion and the skin. In particular, the skin is integrally connected to the cushion through the living hinge so that the skin, the cushion, and the living hinge form a unitary one-piece structure.

Provided is a vehicle including: an arm rest placed between a vehicle seat and a side door; and a moving mechanism configured to move the arm rest in the thickness direction of the side door such that the arm rest takes a usage position and a stored position. The usage position is a position at which the arm rest is usable for an occupant sitting on the vehicle seat. The stored position is a position at which the arm rest is stored in a storage portion provided in the side door.

Door armrest
An armrest upper part covering an upper portion of an armrest lower part includes a front end portion adjacent to a switch finisher and an engagement claw portion extending from the front end portion. An upper part of the engagement claw portion is covered with the switch finisher. At the armrest lower part, a fixing portion for engagement with the engagement claw portion is provided. At a back surface of the switch finisher adjacent to a front of the armrest upper part and covering the upper portion of the armrest lower part, a restriction piece is provided at a position facing the fixing portion via the engagement claw portion. The restriction piece restricts detachment of the engagement claw portion from the fixing portion.
