Multi-function seat cushion
A multi-function seat cushion including an inner layer adapted to resist compression in response to force applied in a longitudinal direction of the inner layer, and compress in response to force applied in a transverse direction of the inner layer, such that the multi-function seat cushion can be used as an armrest or armrest extension when in a first orientation, and can be used as a lumbar support when oriented in a second orientation different from the first orientation.
Comfort pad
A comfort pad having a visco-elastic body encased in a film and fabric adapted to transfer the long term energy distribution properties of the visco-elastic body to the user is provided. A bottom surface of the visco-elastic body may provide frictional resistance so that neither film nor fabric is required, yet the comfort pad may removably secure to a harder structure, providing comfort to the user at this pressure point. The present invention may include an attachment assembly for mechanically and removably attaching the comfort pad between the harder structure and the user.
DOOR ARMREST ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE
A door armrest assembly for a vehicle, may include a trim panel covering an internal side of a vehicle door and having a pushing member; and a door armrest mounted on the trim panel and having a protrusion disposed adjacent to the pushing member, wherein at least a portion of the door armrest is separable from the trim panel in a side impact as the pushing member of the trim panel pushes the protrusion.
Partition-providing apparatus for use with a seating region of a seat
An apparatus for use with a seating region having a seat portion and a back portion includes at least one cushioned body which is securable to components of the seating region of a vehicle, bed, couch or sofa for the purpose of securing the at least one body in a stationary relationship with respect to the seating region or for providing a comfortable surface against which an occupant of the seating region may rest. The apparatus is well-suited for use as a partition between the areas of two adjacent seating regions of a vehicle or between a seating region within which an occupant is seated and an adjacent door of the vehicle.
Portable armrest divider and expander
Disclosed is divider for an arm rest including two upright members with the top of the first upright member connected to a top of the second upright member at an acute angle, a bottom of the first upright member, the bottom of the first upright member spaced apart from a bottom of the second upright member, a first horizontal member, the first horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the first upright member; and a second horizontal member, the second horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the second upright member.
Armrest release mechanism
A vehicle armrest includes an armrest base having a pivot axle that extends along a pivot axis. The armrest base also includes a release mechanism that includes a pair of latch extensions supported on the armrest base for relative movement along a latch axis that is substantially parallel to the pivot axis. A latch spring biases the latch extensions apart from each other. A release handle is mounted on the armrest base for relative movement in a handle release direction. A pinion is mounted on the armrest base for relative rotational movement. Movement of the release handle in the release direction causes rotation of the pinion relative to the armrest base which, in turn, causes the latch extensions to move along the latch axis toward one another.
BOOSTER SEAT CONFIGURED FOR COMPACT SIDE-BY-SIDE POSITIONING
A booster seat for supporting a child in a vehicle includes a lower base having a pair of sidewalls extending on opposing sides of a central axis, and a pair of narrowing walls also extending on opposing sides of the central axis. Each of the narrowing walls include at least one segment positioned between a pair of planes defined by the pair of sidewalls. A seatback frame is connectable to the lower base and includes a plurality of slots formed therein. A plurality of padding modules are detachably engageable with the seatback frame, with each padding module including a pad, a connecting fin coupled to the pad, and a locking flange coupled to the connecting pin. Each of the plurality of padding modules are insertable into a respective one of the plurality of slots to facilitate engagement between the plurality of padding modules and the seatback frame.
SEAT ASSEMBLY, VEHICLE AND ASSEMBLY METHOD WITH AN ACCESSORY FOR THE CONNECTION OF A FURTHER COMPONENT IN THE VEHICLE INTERIOR
It is provided a seat assembly for a vehicle, comprising at least one vehicle seat and at least one seat rail via which the at least one vehicle seat is adjustably mounted. On the seat rail at least one accessory additionally is adjustably mounted, which provides an interface for the connection with a component independently of the vehicle seat.
Armrest release mechanism
A vehicle armrest includes an armrest base having a pivot axle that extends along a pivot axis. The armrest also includes a release mechanism that includes a pair of latch extensions that are supported on the armrest base for relative movement along a latch axis. The latch axis is substantially parallel to the pivot axis. The release mechanism also includes a latch spring that biases the latch extensions apart from each other.
