The present invention provides a steering device that includes: a pair of armrests which are mounted on left and right sides of a seat for a vehicle and are formed to be movable in a forward and backward direction of the seat, and on which arms of a driver are placed; and a pair of steering members which are provided on the pair of armrests, are formed to be grasped by the driver in a state in which the arms of the driver are placed on the pair of armrests, and are moved in the forward and backward direction to change a steering angle of the vehicle. The armrests are configured to move in the forward and backward direction in association with the movement of the steering members in the forward and backward direction.

SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH MOVEABLE ARMS WITH AIRBAGS

A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat, two arms coupled to the seat, and an airbag coupled to each arm. Each arm is movable from a stowed position beside the seat to an extended position abutting the other arm. The airbags are inflatable toward the seat when the arms are in the extended position.

Vehicle Having a Vehicle Seat

A vehicle includes a seat where an air cushion is disposed in a side region of a seat back. The air cushion has a first air chamber that is fillable with gas to form an armrest where the first air chamber has an air chamber portion which, in normal operation, is separated from the first air chamber, is not filled with a gas, and is fluidically coupled with a gas generator. The air cushion has a second air chamber which is fluidically coupled with the gas generator and which is fillable with a gas of the gas generator in an event of a vehicle collision. The air chamber portion and the second air chamber unfold between a first occupant located on the vehicle seat and a trim part of the vehicle and/or between the first occupant and a second occupant by being filled by the gas of the gas generator.

VEHICLE SEAT BOLSTER

A seat assembly is provided herein. The seat assembly includes a seat member having a support surface. A pair of seat member bolsters is disposed on opposing sides of the seat member. A seat base supports the seat member and has a wraparound sidewall that extends above a bottom portion of each seat member bolster.

Armrest for vehicle seat

An armrest for a vehicle seat can inhibit liquid droplets formed due to condensation from entering inside of the armrest when cup holders are tilted. The armrest comprises a cup holder portion, a wall-like first blocking portion, and a wall-like second blocking portion. The first blocking portion is provided toward a pivot center line relative to the cup holder portion, extends parallel to the pivot center line, and projects upwardly when the armrest is in the stored position. The second blocking portion extends in a vicinity of a root of the first blocking portion parallel to extending directions of the first blocking portion to be interposed between the cup holder portion and the pivot center line. The second blocking portion comprises at least one first through hole that penetrates the second blocking portion for communication from the cup holder portion toward the pivot center line.

Described is a stowable display apparatus (200) suitable for stowing a display, such as an in-flight entertainment monitor, in a storage module (110) located above a spreader or a seat bottom of a passenger seat (102). The stowable display apparatus can include an arm (228, 236) pivotally coupled to a mounting plate (222) at a pivot point (250) that is located above the spreader or seat bottom and proximate the forward end of the seat (102), thus enabling a display bracket of the arm to pivot upwards and out of an armrest assembly before rotating into a deployed position. The display arm (228, 236) can provide an easy, safe, and low-cost mechanism for stowing and deploying a display. The thin profile of the display arm allows a storage module (110) two inches wide or less to stow both a display and a table surface, each independently deployable and stowable irrespective of the other's position.

Armrest with deployable cup holder

An armrest is provided for a seat. That armrest includes a body and a deployable cup holder carried on the body. The deployable cup holder includes a translating base and an erectable well wall carried on the translating base. A seat assembly including an armrest is also disclosed.

VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING STRUCTURE

A vehicle air conditioning structure including: a pair of air outlets which is provided at both side regions of a vehicle seat in a seat width direction and is configured to blow air toward an inner side in the seat width direction, wherein the pair of air outlets is arranged so as to blow the air obliquely in directions intersecting with the seat width direction such that the air blown from the air outlets hit each other in the seat width direction, thereby directing the hit air toward a specific body part of a seated person on the vehicle seat.
