Modular head restraint structure and styling enablement features
A headrest assembly for a vehicle seat includes a front panel with a base portion and a support portion. A rear panel includes a base portion and a support portion. A support member includes first and second legs that are interconnected by an upper cross member. First and second support wings are coupled to the first and second legs of the support member and outwardly extend therefrom. The base portion of the front panel couples to a front side of the first and second support wings. The base portion of the rear panel couples to a rear side of the first and second support wings. The support wings are overmolded to the support member along with one or more attachment features to interconnect the front and rear panels to one another around the support member.
Covered Head Support
A covered head support garment comprising a hood, cap, beanie, or any head-covering article for use by passengers of transportation vehicles is disclosed. The covered head support garment may offer the appearance and functionality of a standard hooded garment, such as a jacket, scarf, or shawl, while simultaneously offering a means for supporting the head of a resting passenger. Additionally, the covered head support garment may provide eye shielding from surrounding light and other passengers, as well as disguise the head-support means.

A car seat headrest structure with multipart supporting effect includes a headrest main body and a support section. The main body is defined with a middle section, two lateral sections, an upper section and a lower section. The support section includes two lateral support sections positioned on the two lateral sections and a lower support section positioned on the lower section of the main body. The lower support section and the lateral support sections are flexible or elastic protrusion structures corresponding to the cervical vertebrae portion and the head of a user. The lateral support sections, the lower support section and the middle section of the main body together define an embracing/supporting section. In accordance with ergonomics, the support section can truly protect and support the head and the cervical vertebrae portion of the user according to the actual use requirements of the user.

An apparatus for use with a seating region having a seat portion and a back portion includes at least one cushioned body which is securable to components of the seating region of a vehicle, bed, couch or sofa for the purpose of securing the at least one body in a stationary relationship with respect to the seating region or for providing a comfortable surface against which an occupant of the seating region may rest. The apparatus is well-suited for use as a partition between the areas of two adjacent seating regions of a vehicle or between a seating region within which an occupant is seated and an adjacent door of the vehicle.

A seating assembly for a vehicle includes a seat having an extendable leg support. A seatback is operably coupled with the seat. The seating assembly includes an occupant detection system. A rear seat lift device is disposed in the seat and operable between a lowered position and a heightened position. A rear portion of the seat is elevated relative to the seatback to minimize a height difference between the rear portion of the seat and a bottom portion of the seatback when the seatback is in a fully reclined position. A control module is in communication with the occupant detection system, the seat, and the seatback. The control module is configured to activate an actuation assembly of the seatback to rotate the seatback rearward, extend the extendable leg support forward, and raise the rear seat lift device to provide optimal rest conditions for the occupant.

A seating assembly for a vehicle includes a seat having an extendable leg support. A seatback is operably coupled with the seat. The seating assembly includes an occupant detection system. A rear seat lift device is disposed in the seat and operable between a lowered position and a heightened position. Various apparatuses are disclosed. An apparatus may include a headrest configured to accommodate a head of a user, and an eye cover connected to the headrest and configured to cover eyes of the user. The apparatus may also include headrest straps connected to the headrest and configured to adjustably fasten the headrest to a seat. The headrest straps may adjustably fasten the headrest to the seat by wrapping around the seat. The headrest may include a wedged portion that contacts a shoulder of the user. The headrest may include an indentation shaped substantially similar to at least a portion of the head of the user. The head of the user may be substantially immobilized when the headrest is fastened to a seat and the eye cover is fastened over eyes of the user.

Various apparatuses are disclosed. An apparatus may include a headrest configured to accommodate a head of a user, and an eye cover connected to the headrest and configured to cover eyes of the user.
