Disclosed herein is a system for recognizing a tilt angle through detection of torque variation in a vehicle. The system includes a steering unit including a steering wheel steered by a driver and a steering shaft connected to the steering wheel, a torque detection unit configured to detect a torque variation according to a change in tilt angle of the steering shaft, and a control unit configured to calculate a torque variation using pre-stored data for a joint angle of the steering shaft and a plane angle of the steering shaft according to the change in tilt angle of the steering shaft, and to derive data for a tilt angle of the steering shaft by matching the calculated torque variation with the torque variation detected by the torque detection unit.

UTILITY VEHICLE

A utility vehicle includes a chassis and a work implement movably coupled to the chassis. An operator support is positioned within an operator cab. The operator support includes a seat and a backrest coupled to the seat. A position of the operator support is selectively adjustable relative to the chassis. The utility vehicle further includes a control system in communication with the operator support. The control system includes a sensor operable to sense a position of the work implement relative to the chassis, and a controller including a processor and a memory. The controller is configured to receive a signal from the sensor representative of the position of the work implement. The controller is further configured to generate a signal to automatically adjust the position of the operator support relative to the chassis based in part on the position of the work implement relative to the chassis.

Seat base assembly of a vehicle

A modified OEM vehicle having an interior for accommodating a passenger in a wheelchair including a floor base assembly, a seat, and a seat base assembly operatively connected to the seat. The seat base assembly includes a lower seat base assembly configured to be coupled to the floor base assembly, an upper seat base assembly pivotably coupled to the lower seat base assembly, and an actuator coupled to the lower seat base assembly and to the upper seat assembly. The actuator includes a retracted position in which the seat is located in a seated position and an extended position in which the seat is located in a tilted position, wherein the tilted position of the seat provides additional space for the wheelchair within the interior of the vehicle.

A cable assembly has a link, a cable connector and a cable. The link has a slot near a distal end of the link. The cable connector comprises a shaft near a proximal end of the cable connector and an opening near a distal end of the cable connector. The shaft is engaged with the slot of the link. The cable has a stopper at an end of the cable. The cable extends through the opening, and the stopper extends above the opening.

SPRING LOCK MECHANISM

Provided is a spring lock mechanism including: a lock drum (11) provided on either one of a first member (20) and a second member (20); a coil spring (12) secured to the other member, abutting on the lock drum (11), and locking turning of the second member (30) in one direction relative to the first member (20) due to a frictional force; and a switching mechanism causing the second member (30) to turn relative to the first member (20) to switch a state in which the locking has been established and a state in which the locking has been released and held, in which the coil spring (12) abuts on an inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11), the diameter of the coil spring (12) increases through compression of a spring wire material of the coil spring (12) in a longitudinal direction caused by the turning of the second member (20), the coil spring thus further presses the inner circumferential surface of the lock drum (11) and locks the turning due to the frictional force, and the switching mechanism accompanies an operation of extending or shortening a length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been released relative to the length of the coil spring (12) in the state in which the locking has been established.

VEHICLE SEAT AND ARMREST ASSEMBLY WITH FREE PLAY MINIMIZATION MECHANISM
20210370815 · 2021-12-02 · ·

A seat and armrest assembly includes a seat including a frame having a movable element that is supported on the frame in a position. An armrest is supported on the frame and is movable relative to the seat between a first position and a second position. The armrest includes a locking pin that is disposed adjacent to the movable element of the frame to retain the armrest in the first position. A free play adjustment mechanism is provided to adjust the position of the movable element relative to the frame to minimize or eliminate space between the movable element and the locking pin. The free play adjustment mechanism includes an adjustment actuator having a threaded outer surface that cooperates with a correspondingly threaded inner surface of an aperture extending through the frame.

VEHICLE SEAT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A vehicle seat management system configured to adjust one or more seats based on occupant and/or vehicular data. In one aspect, the occupant and/or vehicular data may be sent to a remote device for calculation of a seat adjustment algorithm. In another aspect, the seat adjustment algorithm may be sent via wireless transmission. In one example, the wireless transmission may be 5G.

SEAT MODULE FOR CABLE ARRANGEMENT
