Passenger assist strap
This present invention relates to transportation and more particularly to a passenger assist strap and clamp for a vehicle, such as, a bus, shuttle, or subway. The passenger assist strap comprises a strap with a tuck loop at a first end and a pin at a second end and the strap forms a top loop starting at the first end and a bottom loop ending at the second end wherein the middle portion of the strap between the top loop and bottom loop is sandwiched in between the first end and the second end and the tuck loop loops over the second end under the pin. The strap may be a double layer of strap and the tuck loop and pin may be positioned in folds of the strap. The clamp has a male clamp and a female clamp with attachment means to attach the male clamp to the female clamp. To attach the clamp to the passenger assist strap, the male clamp is positioned over the first end of the strap and the female clamp is positioned over the second end of the strap, and wherein the female clamp has female clamp sides each with a V-shaped groove comprised of an upper pin groove along which the end portions of the pin slide into and a lower tuck loop groove along which the tuck loop slides into.
Roof handle for a vehicle
A roof handle for a vehicle has two bearing elements which can be fixed to a roof of a vehicle and on which a handle body is mounted so as to be pivotable between a raised position and a lowered holding position. A line for the power supply is provided on at least one bearing element, which line, in a raised position of the handle body, is connected via contacts to an illuminating means on the handle body. Light can be irradiated via the illuminating means into an optical waveguide. This makes the handle body more visible in poor lighting conditions.
Vehicle Mounted Step Assist System
The present invention relates generally to the field of vehicle accessories and more specifically, to a vehicle-mounted step and handle assist system for climbing into a pickup truck or gaining entry into a vehicle interior. The system includes a portable step and a hand grip unit. The step is uses a hinged foot plate and a perpendicular bolt assembly to secure the device to a vehicle by a D-ring configuration. The hand grip unit uses the conventional striker bolts installed on a truck or other vehicle to attach a grip unit having pull handle that can aid a user by providing additional support while using the step and entering into the vehicle.
VEHICLE TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
A vehicle trim panel assembly includes a pillar trim panel, a grab handle extending from the pillar trim panel defining a corner between the pillar trim panel and the grab handle, and a ramp at the corner. The ramp is fixed relative to the pillar trim panel and the grab handle at the corner. The ramp is deformable relative to the grab handle.
VEHICLE ASSIST HANDLE ASSEMBLY HAVING AN INDUCTIVE CHARGER
An assist handle assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assist handle assembly includes an assist handle configured to be gripped by a user, a hanger connected to the assist handle and configured to hang a holder configured to hold an electronic device, a charger configured to charge an electronic device held in the holder hanging on the hanger, and a connector configured to secure the assist handle assembly to a structural component of the vehicle.
BOARDING HANDRAIL
A boarding handrail includes: an outer pipe which is supported by a support member provided on a periphery of an entrance of a vehicle and of which one segment is removed to form a non-annular shape; an inner pipe that has a substantially C-shaped cross-section as seen from an axial direction, with the outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the outer pipe, and is disposed in the one segment by being suspended across one end and the other end of the outer pipe; a sheet member that continuously covers an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface of the inner pipe and is capable of being moved in a circumferential direction of the inner pipe by a driving device provided inside the inner pipe; and a disinfecting device that is provided inside the inner pipe and disinfects the sheet member by irradiating it with ultraviolet light.
BRACKET ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle bracket assembly includes first and second platforms each including a body and connectors that extend from each of the bodies. A central base is disposed between the first and second platforms and are coupled to the first and second platforms via the connectors. First and second connecting legs are coupled to the body of each of the first and second platforms, respectively. A first attachment base is coupled to the first platform via the first connecting legs. A second attachment base includes a locating tab. The second attachment base is coupled to the second platform via the second connecting legs.
