Vehicle Seat Having a Foot and/or Calf Support
A vehicle seat has a foot and/or calf support, a lower seat part which has a seat surface and can be coupled to a vehicle structure having an interior floor in a preferably longitudinally displaceable manner, and a backrest having a backrest surface. The foot and/or calf support has a support surface that is arranged in front of the lower seat part and is movable between a stowed position and a use position. The foot and/or calf support is arranged with a first seat-side edge in front of, on or under the lower seat part and includes a free edge which is remote from the seat-side edge and is arranged in front of the lower seat part so as to be spaced apart from the lower seat part and is coupled to the vehicle structure. The foot and/or calf support is formed by or has at least one support element having the support surface, the support element being designed as an at least two-dimensionally flexible sheet material.
Foot rest assembly for seat of a motorized vehicle
A foot rest assembly includes a foot rest member movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The assembly further includes a leg having a first leg end coupled to the foot rest member and a second leg end, and an arm assembly including a flange and a track. The track includes a first track end and a second track end. A bearing assembly is coupled to the second leg end of the leg. In the deployed position, the bearing assembly and second leg end are located at the first end of the track. In the stowed position, the bearing assembly and second leg end are located at the second end of the track.
Console table assembly for a vehicle
A console table assembly for a vehicle includes a base movably coupled to a floor of the vehicle, a pivot arm having a first end pivotably coupled to the base and a second end that is distal from the first end, a table pivotably coupled to the pivot arm at the second end and having a top side and an underside opposite the top side, a panel coupled to the table and operable to move relative to the table from a first panel position to second panel position, and a foot rest coupled to the base and operable to move relative to the base from a retracted position to a deployed position.
Power leg rest for vehicle
A power leg rest for a vehicle includes a pair of fixed plates; a main pipe connected to between internal surfaces of the fixed plates; a tilt motor tiltably mounted to the main pipe; a pair of main links fastened to external surfaces of the fixed plates by respective first hinge pins; a support pipe connected to between front end portions of the main links; a lead nut bracket coupled to a lead screw and movable forwards and backwards and hingedly fastened to the support pipe; a pair of leg rest links mounted on both sides of a leg rest frame; and a pair of driving links, each being hingedly fastened to corresponding ones of the leg rest links, the main links, and the fixed plates, operating in linkage with the main link, and folding or unfolding the pair of leg rest links.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A support assembly for a vehicle is provided that includes a base fixedly coupled to a vehicle interior, a panel disposed on the base, and a track assembly disposed between the base and the panel. The track assembly includes a track and an actuator slidably coupled with the track and coupled with the panel and movable from a first position to a second position to move the panel from a stored position to a deployed position.
Method, Computer Program Product and System for Mitigating Motion Sickness of a Vehicle Occupant, and a Motor Vehicle Equipped With Same
A motion sickness mitigation method for the purposes of mitigating motion sickness of a vehicle occupant travelling in a motor vehicle includes moving at least a portion of a backrest, a portion of a seat squab, a portion of a head restraint, a portion of an armrest and/or a portion of a footrest as a function of a detected and/or an anticipated driving situation of the motor vehicle, in each case proceeding from a starting position in at least one spatial direction. The movement is situational on the basis of an actual or anticipated trajectory of the motor vehicle.
AIRCRAFT SEAT
An aircraft seat includes an actuator and a movement transmission device. The transmission device includes a frame provided with an immobilizing portion and a drive shaft. The transmission device further includes a gear wheel provided with coupling teeth having inclined side walls and a sleeve with an immobilizing portion complementary to the immobilizing portion of the frame, and coupling teeth having inclined side walls. The transmission device also has an elastic member configured to push the sleeve. The stiffness of the elastic member and the inclination of the side walls of the coupling teeth of the gear wheel and sleeve are chosen such that, when a torque greater than a threshold torque is applied to the gear wheel, the sleeve slides on the drive shaft from a position of coupling the sleeve to the gear wheel to a position of immobilizing the sleeve relative to the frame.
Vehicle passenger sensing and reporting system
An example embodiment of a system and methods for detecting and reporting whether passengers are seated and secured in their seats within a vehicle may include a passenger sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a presence of a passenger in a seat in a vehicle, a restraint sensor configured to provide an output indicative of a status of a passenger safety restraint associated with the seat, a transmitter configured to be in electronic communication with the passenger sensor and the restraint sensor and to wirelessly transmit data indicative of the presence of a passenger in the seat and the status of the restrain, and a reporting module configured to be disposed proximate a driver of the vehicle. The reporting module may be configured to receive the data from the transmitter, and output a respective status for each of a plurality of seats.
Foot rest assembly for a seat of a motorized vehicle
A foot rest assembly includes a foot rest member movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The assembly further includes a leg having a first leg end coupled to the foot rest member and a second leg end, and an arm assembly including a flange and a track. The track includes a first track end and a second track end. A bearing assembly is coupled to the second leg end of the leg. In the deployed position, the bearing assembly and second leg end are located at the first end of the track. In the stowed position, the bearing assembly and second leg end are located at the second end of the track.
Standee Transit Pod
A standee transit pod having a padded backrest supported by a vertically reclined roll bar and a rear brace bar. The backrest is reclined from vertical by about 8 degrees over a range of 5 to 15 degrees. Additionally there is a safety restraint apparatus for a standee, a platform, a lower rear portion of the brace, which is attached proximate to a mid rear edge of the platform therein providing a right rear open space and a left rear open space on the platform. Where, in a row of transit pods, every other transit pod is staggered rearward about half a length of the platform, therein creating adjoining right rear open spaces and left rear open spaces with the adjacent transit pods, therein providing an aisle for a passenger to walk past the row of the plurality of transit pods.
