CUP HOLDER FOR VEHICLE AND VEHICLE COMPRISING SAME
A cup holder for a vehicle includes a heating unit configured to prevent a heater and a conductive plate from being separated from each other due to vibrations of the vehicle or aging degradation. The cup holder for a vehicle includes: a housing for accommodating a cup or container; and a heating unit disposed at a portion of a side wall of the housing, in which the heating unit is provided with a thermally conductive plate and a plane heater fixedly disposed on one surface or in the inside of the thermally conductive plate.
VEHICLE CENTER CONSOLE ASSEMBLY
A vehicle center console assembly includes a main body, a rear compartment lid and at least one removable center console accessory. The main body has a forward accessory area and a rearward compartment area. The rear compartment lid is pivotally attached to the rearward compartment area. The removable center console accessory includes a thermos holder assembly having a housing installed within the forward accessory area of the main body, a pivot structure supported by the housing and a thermos supporting member. A removable thermos bottle is removeably placed in the thermos supporting member. The thermos supporting member is supported by the pivot structure for movement between a horizontal orientation in which the thermos supporting member and the thermos bottle are retained within the housing and an inclined orientation in which the thermos supporting member and the thermos bottle are pivoted upward at least partially out of the housing.
VEHICLE TRIM ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A STORAGE COMPARTMENT AND A SHUTTER
The invention relates to a vehicle trim assembly (2), comprising: a storage compartment (6) defining a storage space (8) emerging through an opening (26); a shutter (10) moving relative to the storage compartment between a closing position, in which it closes off the opening, and an open position, in which it is freed from the opening.
The shutter (10) comprises at least one transmission zone (50) able to be steered between a viewing configuration, in which the transmission zone allows the visible light to pass through the shutter and makes it possible to distinguish the contents of the storage space through the shutter, and a concealing position, in which the transmission zone does not make it possible to distinguish the contents of the storage space through the shutter.
Shifter-supporting base and shifter assembly and vehicle employing the same
The present invention in one or more embodiments provides a base for supporting shifter, wherein the base includes longitudinal axis, a first cross-section including a first border defining therein a first aperture, and a second cross-section positioned spaced apart from the first cross-section along the longitudinal axis and including a second border defining therein a second aperture. The base as provided is believed to be advantageous in supporting the shifter while allowing arrangement for the air duct to pass through and therefore to improve comfort for the rear-seat passenger without having to necessarily increase the interior packaging size.
STORAGE COMPARTMENT HAVING A HOLDER FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
The invention relates to a storage compartment for a center console of a motor vehicle, having a partial cylinder shell-shaped compartment divider, which is movable on a circular path, in order to separate a storage region from the storage compartment in order to store a beverage container. For the purpose of supporting a stored beverage container in a tilt-free manner, the invention provides a spring-loaded support element on the compartment divider, the movement of which is synchronized with fixed support elements on a circumference of the storage region.
Cup holder table mount apparatus, and the like
A table/tray is provided which is removably mountable into a standard beverage or cup holder of a seating armrest, and maintains the cup holder capacity of the armrest, while at the same time providing the additional concurrent functionality of a table or tray adjacent to the seating assembly. This table/tray is movable by rotation within the cup holder, or otherwise, to be shifted out of the way of the user's entry/egress motion with respect to the seat assembly. This tray/table is dimensioned and/or foldable so as to be stored under the seating assembly, or closely adjacent thereto in available space, and it can be used at multiple different locations within the vehicle or other structure of use, according to the availability of cup holder recesses to receive it.
Vehicle trim panel having beverage retainer
A vehicle trim panel assembly is provided having a beverage retainer formed in a storage compartment on the door of an automotive vehicle. The trim panel assembly includes a storage receptacle and a trim panel arranged to define at least a portion of the storage receptacle. The trim panel includes a base portion connected to a beverage retainer portion via a living hinge. The beverage retainer portion is pivoted about the living hinge into position within the storage receptacle.
Magnetic bottle mounting system and methods of use
A magnetic bottle mounting system, comprising: a bottle; a magnetically active ring; an at least partially open-faced mount for receipt of the bottle therein; and, at least one magnetically active body provided to the mount opposite the ring.
STORAGE COMPARTMENT HAVING AN ACCOMMODATING SPACE FOR THE INSERTION AND ACCOMMODATION OF OBJECTS AND HAVING A HOLDER FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A storage compartment having two holders for a beverage container, such as beverage cans, for a central console of a motor vehicle. In order to support a beverage container in a tilt-proof manner, the invention provides four retaining jaws, which are acted upon by spring force, two of which are fixed and two are disposed on two rotating disks, which are disposed one above the other, and therefore the retaining jaws can be moved into positions, which are offset by 90°, as shown on the right in the figure. When not in use, the two movable retaining jaws can be moved (left) to the side under a cover of the storage compartment.
PALM REST ASSEMBLIES, CONSOLE ASSEMBLIES, AND VEHICLES INCORPORATING THE SAME
