Integrated ramp truck tailgate apparatus
An integrated ramp truck tailgate apparatus for convenient loading and offloading includes a tailgate body pivotably coupled to a bed of a pickup truck. The tailgate body has a body inner face with a ramp cavity. A first ramp panel has a first proximal edge pivotably coupled to the ramp cavity adjacent a body distal edge. The first ramp panel moves between a first folded position within the ramp cavity and a first extended position extending from the body distal edge towards the ground. A second ramp panel has a second proximal edge pivotably coupled to a first distal edge of the first ramp panel. The second ramp panel moves between a second folded position on top of the first ramp panel within the ramp cavity and a second extended position extending coplanar from the first ramp panel in the first extended position to the ground.
Self Leveling Trailer and Loading Ramps
A heavy vehicle and machinery trailer having: (i) a trailer base with wheels and suspension; (ii) a trailer bed supported on the trailer base by the suspension; (iii) loading ramps connected to the trailer bed where the suspension, or other methods such as hydraulically operated landing legs, are adapted to allow an operator to alter the pitch and/or roll angle of the trailer bed relative to the ground surface and wherein where the loading ramps are adapted to have varying lengths such that the ramps can be evenly pitched when they are extended to the ground on a sloped surface. The trailer has a hydraulic system under the control of an electrical controller which is operated by a user. The electrical controller has a preset matrix of safe loading and unloading parameters which it uses to determine whether the sensed state of the trailer is safe for loading or unloading.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY HAVING A RAMP
A vehicle door assembly includes, among other things, a ramp pivotable back-and-forth between a stowed position and a deployed position. The vehicle door assembly further includes a door slidable back-and-forth between a closed position and an open position. The door and the ramp are configured to slide together when the ramp is in the stowed position. The door is configured to slide relative to the ramp when the ramp is in the deployed position.
Detachable motorized vehicle
A system and method for transporting a detachable vehicle is provided. In one embodiment of the present invention, a track is affixed to a first vehicle, such as a van, and used to transport (e.g., load, secure, unload, etc.) a detachable vehicle, such as a motorized scooter. The track may be a single track, or a plurality of track portions (e.g., a ramp portion, a floor portion, a seat portion, etc.). In one embodiment of the present invention, the first vehicle includes a first connector and the detachable vehicle includes a second connector, where said first connector and said second connector can be mated, either manually or automatically in response to moving the detachable vehicle along the track (e.g., to a final location). Once an electrical connection is made, said electrical connection can be used to share information between the vehicles and/or to charge a battery on the detachable vehicle.
AUTOMATED CARGO VEHICLE RAMP DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
An automated cargo vehicle ramp deployment system includes a controller and a power source connected thereto, a ramp located at the existing cargo vehicle, a first automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from a first position to a second position defined along a perimeter of the existing cargo vehicle while the ramp is maintained at a vertically oriented position, a second automated ramp displacement mechanism for configured to selectively displace the ramp from one of the first position and the second position to a third position, and a third automated ramp displacement mechanism for selectively adjusting a longitudinal length of the ramp while the ramp is statically disposed at a third position.
Portable conveyor system for use with a vehicle
A portable and articulating conveyor belt device for use with a vehicle having a power supply, wherein the vehicle's power supply powers the conveyor belt device. The conveyor belt device is removably attachable to a trailer hitch assembly on a vehicle, and enables a user to quickly and safely load articles onto/off of the vehicle via a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt device is preferably controlled via a remote control and controls the position of the device, as well as the direction and speed of the conveyor belt. The support frame of the conveyor belt device is comprised of a plurality of repositionable, interlocking and pivoting support frame members that enable the device to be arranged in a variety of configurations to suit user need and/or preference.
Vehicle Door Opening Structure
An embodiment vehicle door opening structure includes a first door unit positioned at a side of a vehicle and including a first door, a second door unit including a second door positioned adjacent to the first door, a locking device configured to selectively lock the first door unit and the second door unit together, and a controller configured to fix the locking device so that the first door unit and the second door unit are configured to be opened together or to release the locking device so that the first door unit and the second door unit are configured to be opened independently.
PATIO FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY
A patio railing assembly for a recreational vehicle having a ramp door includes a first side wall and a second side wall that are pivotably mounted to the recreational vehicle. The side walls each include a static portion and a slidable portion coupled to the static portion and movable between a retracted position and an extended position. An end wall of the patio railing assembly includes a first portion pivotably mounted to the first side wall and a second portion pivotably mounted to the second side wall. In a storage configuration, the first portion of the end wall is configured to nest within the first side wall, the second portion of the end wall is configured to nest within the second side wall, and the first and second side walls are configured to extend along one another with the slidable portions thereof in the retracted position.
ADJUSTABLE DECK SYSTEM FOR CARGO COMPARTMENT
A deck system for cargo compartment may including one or more of the following features: a first deck; a second deck, where at least one of the first deck and the second deck divide the cargo compartment into an upper sub-compartment and a lower sub-compartment; and an actuator that is mechanically coupled to the second deck, where operation of the actuator causes at least a portion of the second deck to move vertically relative to the first deck within the cargo compartment.
LOAD RAMP FOR A VEHICLE
A load ramp for a vehicle includes a corrugated layer that has a first surface and a second surface. A first layer is positioned adjacent to the first surface of the corrugated layer. A second layer is positioned adjacent to the second surface of the corrugated layer such that the corrugated layer is positioned between the first and second layers, A thickness of the load ramp can be in the range of about 10 mm to about 30 mm. A load capacity of the load ramp can be at least about 100 kg, A method of manufacturing the load ramp is also disclosed.
